Very easy to connect cameras and has lots of controls all in one easy to use app I use very expensive professional cameras and management software at work This app gives me most of the important controls I m a little concerned about the security of the cameras I ve only got one camera hard wired to the network the others are wireless Is the data safe Is the video encrypted Is it easy for someone to hack DLink cameras                 So far seems to work well JDawgfromCT

Grouping is defective if I add 4 cams it will collect all others as well Also needs 3X3 and 4X4 modes that means window size can be manipulated to fit multiple cams on one page without having large spaces all around App has been updated multiple times but nothing to enhance user s experience     App Needs Work Alkanx

I have to retrack my original review becasue it was done at the base station before trying to connect outside the home This is nothing more than a monitor for home usage only IT WILL NOT CONNECT OVER THE WEB I can see almost anywheer at my house I do not need a monitor What I needed was a monitor away from the house For that reason I cannot reccomend this app         Camera Viewing Monitor bossofnova

The app works good with the two cameras I have as someone stated in another review getting it set up and working took some playing around with on my part What seemed to help mine as well was within my net gear router I assigned DNS addresses to the devices so that they get the same IP every time they power on this seem to help some connection issues I was having                     cameras Jokath

I mistakenly downloaded this app thinking it would work with my model Also I had to enable wireless by visiting the camera IP address in my browser because Dlink s recommended application from the packaged instructions did not work You can find your cam s IP address by using an app like Fing Lastly you ll want to configure port forwarding on any AirPort Extreme router if that s what you have like me as well as sign up for a DDNS address through dyndns website Once you ve configured DDNS you should be able to use mydlink on your iPad and mydlink lite on your iPhone away from home or over wifi             Use mydlink instead with DCS 5222LB1 mkelley33
