Cow Tipper!

For a 35 check with all stars as being yellow so a just ok not wowd experience it has me giving a 586 tip Thats 167 What happens if its a busy night but the customer doesnt realize it Or the kitchen screwed up and not the server so the food took awhile Or the server wasnt happy go lucky because of something else going on This app is frankly quite ridiculous Dont use it     Ugh

First this was one of the easiest to use tip calculators I have seen out there While I havent seen the formulas used to compute the tips I can only say they may be a little generous The overly negative reviews obviously are from people working in the service industry Tipping is not a required part of the bill it is a benefit of quality service that is earned by the server              Easy to Use Better than most

I dont know if this app is made for the taller screen of the 5 or higher but on my iPhone 4S you cannot read the questions Neat idea though Thats why I gave 2 stars        Does not work on 4S

What am I made of money This app has told me to tip around 70 at average restaurants before Definitely do not recommend     70 bucks

Clearly the writers of this app are on Yelp a lot Nickle and Dime the tip away for small imaginary infractions THE CUSTOMER IS not ALWAYS RIGHT Tip percentage was wayyyyy to low for 100 tabs Tried multiple combos averaged 15 BS 100 20 tip or more period     Cant tip Dont eat out

The recent updates make the app unusable because you cant even see the questions PLEASE FIX ASAP     UNUSABLE

This is just not how you should base your tip Typically a server does not control how long it takes to get your food You should notice things like how busy and hard working your server is Tip 1820 in youre in the US If youre meal was bad talk to a manager instead of punishing your server     Poor tipping advise

This is one of the coolest and most useful calculators Ive used I really like the simplicity of the user interface                 Most useful tipping app out there

As a server just so Everyone understands food times is not in our control I think everybody needs to serve table once in their life By the way here is an accurate tip amount now days Good service20     Tip accordingly

I like the idea and ease of use but as someone who waited tables when I was younger Im disappointed by the suggested tips For example for a meal where the overall service is a smiley face one level below the best the app suggested a tip of around 14 Really 15 is the standard to tip for good service and more if its better than just good Below 15 should be reserved for bad service I realize tipping is a controversial topic but the current reality in the US is that many people live off of tips and whether people like the idea of tips or not 15 is the standard Many restaurants underpay employees under the assumption theyll get 15 tips By all means undertip poor service but pay good servers 15 at minimum           Low tipper

Used it yesterday it was great Food was good service was okay so we left the appropriate amount based on the series of questions And it was fun We had to guess what percentage we tipped so including that somewhere would be nice Still deserves 5 stars in my opinion                 Fun app to use

Update they fixed the algorithm a bit now its tipping a bit too much Lol Again to recap the boring below Most waiters make 213 an hour unless its Vegas they might make 425 to 600 an hour Want to know Ask your server or delivery driver For deliveries That 200 delivery charge Gas These guys make less than 1000 an hour put thousands of very hard miles on their vehicles and a ton of tires brakes lights and tickets trying to rush to your front door Tip 2 minimum and 500 for two people drink napkins sauces and friendly fast delivery Any more tip what you feel is right Dont forget your the one that didnt get takeout Personally I even tip takeout a buck or two if they make me smile Just remember these people work 35 hour shifts and ALL of their wages pay for your tips No joke Some people multiply sales tax ridiculous dont do it If you drink a bunch or alcohol make a big mess or take a long time over an hour tip more Servers tip bussers and bartenders at least 20 of their tips and they get taxed on the before So tip 5 more for each occurrence Best service ever 30 Great service 2025 Decent service 1520 Anything below that upset you call a manager Its hisher fault Drinks empty for a while forgot to check up on you something that you had to get another server One thing that irks me the most is if I have an empty glass or something is wrong with my food I sit there and wait When they come back they smell like a cigarette or cheap perfume Instant manager requested Im not paying them to smoke and neither is the owner You will get comped a meal in most establishments If you dont write to corporate Add at least 5 to all advice and automatically press Yellow on Food came out on time no matter what Most people dont know most waiterswaitresses only make 213 an hour Restaurants like Chilis have really cheap stuff on the menu This makes the average tip 500 on a 2030 experience If you dont want to tip go to a buffet When I have bad service at a restaurant I tip 810 and speak to a manager I like the food and want to come back but not to bad service If I dont get my food fast enough its 99 of the time not the servers fault Most programs rate heavy on this this one adds 13 which is horrible and the worst I have seen This is why I am rating it Many times the food is delivered by someone else because the server is busy as is and doesnt know his kitchen I personally tip LESS if my server doesnt bring out my food I want him to see it going down so if something is wrong he can immediately fix it or if something is missing she can go get it At a buffet bad service 100 each person best service ever 250 person Please dont forget your buying the food ambiance and the servers duties to roll silverware bring you food and sweep the floor You are tipping their great service diligence intelligence and the experience with them Even a 5 bill in most cases warrants at least a 2 tip Whomever said 20 is a good tip is mistaken 2530 depending on the bill Not the place is good 10 is bad and 9 or less is horrible to where you should call the manager over Help the server not hurt 0 is just plain stupid and not a lesson This is written by someone that has been a server most tips at 2050 manager and now patron Restaurants were just a part time thing for me and the best part was meeting new people The main reasons why this app is so bad is because the food really has nothing to do with service I have worked at places with really nasty food that was always under or over cooked and still made an average of 30 per check Its how your server attends to your needs How heshe makes you feel How heshe keeps your drink filled up even if your a fish then makes you laugh about it Because you know you drink more than any other human and if you dont thats probably why you need an app to figure out 14 or 13 a bill of 60 How hard it is to put an extra 2000 down for awesome kids that have wrecked the table and the floor with a cigarette smoking husband that cant make up his mind for 20 minutes on what to eat after he came inside from his 10 minute cigarette break in the first place This in turn takes up tables which takes away tips You want to really hurt a server sit in their booths all night Get a crowd of friends to take up all 35 of them and just sit their and joke about then when the check comes tip 58 and complain how bad the service was But it better be warranted because they already probably complained to every server and manager in the place for what is happening in the first place Of course as an added bonus some of your meals should get comped Heres some help Average two person check 30 check 1030 or Best ever 710 Great 46 Good 35 Okay 24 Bad 13 Horrible tip on table and ask for a manager politely I like to ask the managers if I can talk to them in private and take them outside My wife can wait at the table briefly for me Most times I will get a gift certificate for later use This way I can try for the experience again This happens to us a lot 1 out of 4 times because I dont tolerate stupidity in a server Their only job is to bring me food and fill my glass Screw up my needs and Im talking to your manager If those needs are met and a couple others with no butterflies rainbows or shooting stars coming out of my server I would say good service Easy 6 tip If you have my check ready within 30 seconds for me after you say the word desert and I say no 1 more If I see you hustle the have a great night maybe 2550 more It all adds up Thats why apps dont work And no one wants to fill out a survey Its because app makers dont know the important reasons why people tip or dont tip        Not the best tipping advice

The app is pretty good and I like the questions Big issue I have is the ads pop up and the screen moves then you cant read the questions to even know what you are answers I would use the app more if I was able to read the questions when the ads pop up        Issues with ads

Im sorry but as a server how fast your food comes out really shouldnt play a factor on your tip to the server If the kitchen is slammed or they make a mistake its not the servers fault Also as the other reviews stated the percentage is usually too low for even good service Servers get paid 214 an hour people They rely on your tips to eat        Unfair

I dont like that it tells you not to tip I think only in really extreme cases should you not tip your server If the service is so bad that you feel that you shouldnt tip then you should speak to a manager If you are the type of person who doesnt like to tip you certainly dont need an app to help you act cheap     Hmmmm

I normally tip starting from 20 excellent and deduct for instances of bad service slow doesnt check in me attitude This calculator does pretty much the same thing and its fun to use and doesnt make me feel guilty if I have to leave a low tip due to poor service I would like to see a rounding option for the total bill              Fun tip calculator

This app is unnecessary How fast the food comes out shouldnt play a factor in the tip The kitchen gets backed up a lot and it isnt always the server at fault You should instead notice things like how they act towards you whether they bring you everything you asked for how busy it is and whether they kept your drinks and water glasses filled Cmon it really is a no brainer Being a server is not easy Everyone should try it at least once They make only 23 per hour and rely on your tips for a living Thats why I always just give 20 unless they are being just plain rude or have a bad attitude then I just give 1015 but thats only in rare cases All that aside if you cant afford to tip then dont eat out Youre not just paying for the food You are paying for someone to bring you the food fill your drinks pack up your left overs then clean up your mess when you leave So if you want to be cheap then stay home and make your own food or just get take out Its not hard I might be harsh when I say this but this app is ridiculous and was made for idiots     Stupid

Theres more to tipping than 3 questions For example did they refill your drink without you having to ask If you asked them to bring something additionally did it take long Did they check on you often Were they nice And last but not least did the same person stay with you the whole time Meaning one person sat you down a different person took your order a different person brought your food a different person took your plates etc        3 questions Thats it

From servers that think no one should EVER tip less than 20 Even funnier that so many dont realize how their pay is actually structured Nice app but a calibration feature would be nice in case the recommendations are consistently lower or higher than what you think is fair              Cracking up at the 1 and 2star reviews

It should have a custom price option cb when we eat out as a family the bill goes over 100 sometimes                 Cool but

The app is easy to use but needs to have a way to enter cents and would be helpful to have a delete or undo feature and a menu so the you can see the different features           DJG

I downloaded this just because I was curious Its a neat concept but leaves so much to be guessed I use another tip calculator that has tons more options but doesnt tell me how much I shouldshouldnt tip I really wish this app had some of those options like rounding up or down and Id like to know what percentage Im giving I tested the app and gave the service the red face for everything and the app said to tip 10 but maybe I would rather round my total bill off to the dollar Just a thought I think as a watch app this will be useful but I dont have the watch           Interesting concept

Finally I know how to tip thanks to this app I wish I wouldve found this way sooner Now I dont feel lost when it comes to the end of my meal Cool concept too                 Fabulous
