free version is super obnoxious with the ads i kind of liked the sound though so i upgraded to pro not much in the way of extra features there still like the base sound synthesizer so as a simple noisemaker it is kind of fun but it has a LOT of that microclickiness glitching at the start end of sounds played regardless of attack setting making it of limited use feels a little slopped together overall the sound is cool enough that it could be a good app with a bit of developer TLC but in its current state eh             ok All names taken.

Not exactly but it s blocking enough of what is essential to synthesis I recommend the moog model 15 for 30 dollars if you want to get into some synthesis that you can actually see I get that it s a free app and all but come on with the add blocking that much of the screen is that really necessary There are plenty of free apps that don t over spam with ads And I am not rating this one star Negative one would be more accurate     An add blocks like a fourth of the view of the app nicodemosmusic

I was looking for a synth similar to the Octave Kat that served as my first synth so I could teach my 4 year old sound design That s not as crazy as it may sound Unfortunately this little app lacks a few things I would want Detuning on both osc s would have been nice the fine tuning was hard to control never could dial in a value less than 4 and that was a pain you can t seem to map anything but an LFO to the mod wheel my first thought is to use the mod wheel to alter the filter no noise That s a crying shame the best part of learning synthesis is making spooky wind and thunder sounds Heh The graphics are a bit meh seems like it could have been a bit more vintage looking but that s me being picky The bottom line is that it generally it sounds weak and less than impressive             Not quite cooked as a learning app or a synth Murdock Scott

With the last update my app got reset to the free module despite previously paying for it Now i have adds that run across the controls and I can t save any presets I lost a bunch that i had previously saved Less than awesome     What SuperDuper01

Imagine that a basic waveform two osc synth without all those messy effects nor a dumb LFO and stuff It may not be the cure for insomnia but it s a close second Three stars because it s competently designed and executed in other words it worked             Surprise It s a synth kk100

First off it s a very useful teaching tool A very simple visual layout of the basic tools needed for subtractive synthesis Novice synth explorers can get comfortable quickly But The numbering system for the Oscillator Octaves is backwards 16 is supposed to be the Lowest Octave and 1 should be the Highest Octave On a real pipe organ a 16 pipe is much lower in pitch than a 1 pipe That s where these values came from                 Must Fix Osc Octave Text _DanielFisher_

No midi in out and sounds genaric just like all the other Allen Porter based synths out there want the exact same sounds for free Just search around for any free synth bassed off the same source code from Allen Porter nobody seems to change anything but the GUI so they all sound the same     Just like all the others TechnoWeeniePas

This is a great little synth for learning the basics of sound synthesis Everything is very clear and the controls are very responsive Will need to add Core Midi and midi over wifi to keep up             Perfect for learning Xcile

Mike new patches are added to the end of the list they don t overwrite previous patches And have you tried moving your finger further away from the dial to make micro adjustments                     Easy Peasy FornandoToors

Two patches Seriously Where can I find a manual And the patching saving writes over the patch I just created Also adjusting the tuning between Osc 1 and 2 is a nightmare I couldn t dial is 12 cents to save my life It jumped from 11 to 14 no matter how minute of a movement I made Cool concept Needs some work And that manual no can find it             Where are the patches mickmuffin

I gave this synth an average score I try to support devs when I can and it seems that every month or two there is two or three new versions of the mobile synth free code I respect the potion but I have so many of these synths and I am still waiting for record with copy paste The other reviews are correct in the clipping pops and clicks I have noticed it s only velocity sensitive on my iPad 1 Perhaps it has to do with an apple issue with the API Either way should be a simple fix since there is a work around and the problem seems to be triggered Good luck with this one and I will watch it For now I am still a big fan of sylo synth and it s upgrade when it comes to a VA synth of this design It is different then the mobile synth open code and it has record copy and paste Once this app gets fully featured out then it should be the last of these synth option you should need Thanks for your time             Mobile synth hd freesoulvw

This is useless for me because of audible clicks between notes Not even adjusting the oscillators filters and envelopes resulted in a setting that did not click         Clicks Deleted The Snapper
