New update has stopped entered texts being visible as you type Road numbers are too small to be read Dropping a pushpin is near impossible Saved pushpins arent stored alphabetically It is not user friendly at night A majority of the colours are disgusting and make texts hard to read Some of the routing is ridiculous with no logic behind it and it wont even show some of the most obvious routes I wish I could get my money back This app is a disgrace     Virtually unusable

This app is not designed for commercial trucks The routes recommended do not take into consideration heightweight or commercial restrictions This is the same app as for regular cars but with a different name Even though you enter the specs for your truck it does not take these into consideration when recommending routes Waste of money at this point     This app is not for commercial trucks

Great if you put in start stop and just want a route Their truck stops include just filling stations and not real truck stops So not very useful info if you are looking for a shower food or rest area etc things found at a full truck stop Although the maps are good its impossible just to bring up a map of a location and browse Only way Ive found is to do the long process of starting and stopping another route and drilling down to finally get a map to look at It should be much easier Nice idea but overall app design needs to be redone and provide buttonspull down menus to do something other than follow a route     Ok but app design is poor for finding things

Being a truck driver and being able to adjust the route to suite the delivery location is very nice The basic setting will keep you on a truck route and legal but when you can manually adjust the directions to avoid certain areas or for a custom entry and exit at the customers location make it even better                 Flexibility

DOESNT WORK ON IOS7 can you guys update it on iOS 6 it was fine I loved it     IOS7

The update is very buggy If you have v8 wait to upgrade Voice nav quits randomly launching the app can take 510 tries because it says it failed to activate and it thinks I take about 30 of off ramps instead of assuming Im following the route until proven wrong Try that going down I15 in Fontana CA On the plus side reroute are faster which is good since it has to do them all the time and low clearanceweight limittruck restrictions are shown right on the map Nice if youre ignoring the routing for detours or local directions or getting turned around for that matter Fix the bugs and I give it a 55        Buggy

Crashes on iOS 703 on my iphone 5s only way to fix is delete and redownload then I have to down maps again killing me on data downloaded 3 times at 15 gigs each time gonna demand a refund and reimbursement for data if not fixed soon crashed to black screen all 3 time dive downloaded ut Not happy           Loved it for 2 years now it dont work

Have to rotate iPad to portrait mode to see what I have typed This is an inconvenience but is now functional Thanks for the long awaited update Keep them coming              Landscape orientation

I have owned this a while and at first did not appreciate much and used it for a back up mostly After the updates and finding my Rand McNally going down all the time and having to rely on some company systems I started using this more At one point it was the only gps that was still working so used it for planning everything When I switched companies my new company uses copilot for in truck navigation and routing I can easily drag the routes to match my route plan provided by the company where using any other system it is difficult Over the past year I have really grown to appreciate my copilot on my iPad for helping me be safe and know what is ahead for traffic This little addition has allowed me to save on my time lock a few times by knowing of accident delays and allowing me to pull over or reroute to save my hours Like any system these days you need to learn it and have back ups and sanity checks as well I still find myself wishing for upgrades like weigh station warnings or wish the search along the route was better but I also use the Rand McNally mainly for that here days to justify spending a couple hundred more for that system which does not route as good or is as stable as my iPad with copilot When they have it search better and update construction and poi better I will give it 5 stars but right now 4              Come a long way

I like The fact that the miles log is back This app is running good on my iPhone 5 but its running slow on my iPad 3 Dont know why Maybe its that the iPad is too slow but before the update it ran fast           OTR Driver

Dont pay attention to the comments bc i bought Garmin gps for trucks and it really sucked I decided to try this app and i am surprised at how well it works Its not worth the money to get the expensive gps this app is great                

This app is a must for any truck operator with a iPad Works better and finds more destinations then my Garmin 465t Going from a 43 screen to the iPad makes such a improvement in seeing were you are going I had a custom mount made for my iPad so it is secure to the dash of my freightliner Cascadia It allows the iPod to be locked in so I dont have to worry about it getting lifted All in all everyone should by this if you drive a truck or a class eight motor home it will pay for its self in no time                 Better then

Ive been pretty pleased with the app running on my ipad 3 The features are on par with my stand alone truck gps that I had previously used and the added benefit of the ipad has made it worth the price My only concern is the lack of updates to the app Its been 10 months since the last update and with a few noticed bugs and the need for regular map updating I would hesitate purchasing the app again That said I havent noticed as many map errors as I did with my Rand McNally TND that was updated almost weekly           Still better than stand alone gps

I have been using ALK software for years but this app is the worst piece of junk ever Directions to ramps that dont exist streets not there routing way out of your way regardless of settings and customer service that is so bad they might as well just not even have it I get better routing using apples map app I strongly advise to put your money into an actual GPS I your vehicle before spending it on this app     Dont waste hour money or time with this app

Are you ever going to fix this App in landscape view I contacted you 34 months ago and was told it was going to be fixed in a couple weeks Support for a App that was fine before the last update is TERRIBLE would not recommend buying until bugs are fixed     IOS 81

Documentation says it will show speed limits and give speed warnings None of that seems to be true at least on the main interstates in North America        Not worth the price

Ive been using this app since march and Ive been happy with it Previously I used a Garmin 465t and I feel this has been a superior product There are bugs but its strengths outweigh the weaknesses Some of the truck routing is spotty but this seems to be mostly local roads The Garmin had the same issue I pull hazmat constantly and have not been led astray yet I have also tried to submit map improvements through the app and I have received prompt replies from support asking for details as needed The software is quick and the poi seem to be spot on If you already have the iPad I consider this to be a much better value than a standalone gps              Works good for me

Needs some more features added As long as you get the semi programmed in right its a breeze to use                 Very good

I have used Garmin hate it I have Magellan Roadmate I like it but doesnt have a big truck version still very good CoPilot I think this system is GREAT Not perfect but an excellent system I have been using it for about 3 wks now and the only things I found wrong were a couple of fuel stops were on the wrong side of the Interstate fm what the directions stated no biggie since it is hard to miss those huge signs usually Well worth the money Thanks for what I think is the best system out right now              I like it

I sincerely wish you guys would update this app First off make it fit on the iPhone 5 screen Secondly it would be so nice if you could try to make the app look like an iOS app Lastly I know your database should be pretty extensive by now considering how long you guys have been around but a couple nights ago I was told by this app to turn onto a road that had a weight limit of 4 tons Why would I be sent down such a road Please revisit the voice guidance Try to make it sound a bit more human Ill keep using it because it works for me but there are some rough edges Smooth them out please HELLO I wrote this review months ago and youve still done nothing Come on guys           Please update

I paid for this app almost a year ago because I just started in truck driving and the companys GPS on the quallcom is primitive and very confusing at times but I didnt want to commit to a 400 dollar GPS just yet this app needs improvement on routing the app would sometimes route me on local roads instead of the freeway right next to it or if I type a street name it cant find it but Im able to click on it on the map If you use this app get a truck altas to confirm the routing Buildin directions on how to use the app more effectively would of been nice They do have instructions online but are you going to have it infront of you It took me about a month through trail and error to figure it out ETAs during routing can be off since you have to manuely set the speed limits for the road types youre going to use But ETAs are updated live while driving based on your current mph Another downer is that you cant adjust the route if you dont like what is given           could be better

Was happy with it until I upgraded to iOS 8x Now it is no longer functional on 802 or 81 yes fresh install of the app has been tried They state it requires ios6 or laterbut dont be fooled they dont support iOS 8x     Great product gone bad

If you Bluetooth pair your iphone with your car audio like most people do now days you will not have voice guidance from the phone or the car audio Support will not address the issue and refuse to acknowledge an obvious failure in their software Dont waste your time and     No voice directions

Good apptried downloading region maps after north American map It crashed Could not resolve Could not get help from support I investigated other apps nothing comes close I repurchased this one again and downloaded north America then Canada with out a problem Works well              Copilot truck

After using for one monthI like it being in my Iphone Seems to be well integrated Good graphics and like the alternate routes Like the map displays Easy to enter destinations Routes have been good Rerouting is quick Butrarely knows the speed limit often thinks I have taken an exit when I havent and starts giving directions back to the highway Has sent me down the wrong highway at a split three times now A couple times it couldnt find a route to my destination but I rebooted and moved from a dock to a street location to ask and it was able to find a route Only once has an address not been in the data base The voice directions seem spotty at times and late at times and a couple times were just wrong and disagreed with what the map showed The voice directions take some getting used to my garmin nuvi directions were clearer and easier to follow and generally better These need work as does the pronunciation Phone speaker isnt loud enough to be heard in the cab have to use ear buds all the time For the price and convenience factor and since the reviews for the other trucker gps units are lousy this one is worth a try but I hope it improves over time        Only fair

This app does not take you down approved truck routes and you will get tickets Very inaccurate with addresses and will not even get you close to where you need to be Wish I knew how to get my money back     Do not purchase

The app is unusable in landscape please fix     PLEASE FIX LANDSCAPE ORIENTATION

I had this app for year and was very helpful But as of new iPad air came out app dont work any more     Dont work on iPad air
