Concentrate! timer

UPDATE this thing wont stay open in background at all Has become useless with latest iOS update I have sent two emails to the developer and have gotten no response One of the best apps I own has become useless I will be happy to give this five stars when they fix it Earlier review I love this timer in concept and the basic look and feel is great However when Im working on something and have to use another app Concentrate will sometimes seem to stop When I go back to the Concentrate timer it acts like the session has not yet begun This is very annoying especially if I know that I have say 20 or more minutes left in a session Its not the end of the world but it totally throws me off my game I shouldnt have to worry about whether the app is going to work in background     Does not work in background anymore

Great app Add ampm functionality and screen dimming and it will be a fivestar app              Excellent but needs two things

I really like this timer it is very useful for trying to pace yourself but it could use a few improvements The simplicity of the app is wonderful and isnt distracting from its purpose but in the inner circle it shows the current time and the time when the current session will complete it would be very nice to have an option for 12hour time instead of 24hour time this part is useless if you dont use 24hour time              Very good timer

Completely and consistently crashes every time I try to do the most basic function change the default time Just bought it because it looks like it has a great layout its good for the Pomodoro method and its on both iPad and iPhone Im thinking this may be a problem with iOS 5 which is what Im using it on on my iPad Once this is fixed I will rerate the app     Fails

This timer has a great simple interface that makes it good for the Pomodoro method of task management The local push notifications make it easy to continue the work and break periods even when the app is running in the background My requests would be including 12 hour time ampm and adding an option to let the screen sleep it can be a battery hog if not plugged in Also a history page to journal all of those productive work sessions would be very nice              Nice Productivity Timer

Fantastic Simple So very helpful                 Great app

This is a great option especially for iPad 2 users The app rotates so you can stand your iPad up on the desk with a smart cover to show your time while you work A great addition would be integration with calendar to show upcoming appointments Otherwise a clean elegant option for any iDevice              Great if not a little feature anemic

The app is beautiful to look at but missing a couple features that would make it far and away the best timer app at least for those trying to be productive with it using pomodoro techniques and the like Most importantly it needs 1 to track the number of cycles that youve gone through each day Other pomodoro apps have that capability such as pomorodorpro though this app is much nicer looking This second one isnt as important but it would be a nice option to have 2 It needs the ability to automatically continue through the timers so I dont have to manually start it after each cycle ends If those are added its a 5 star app for me but without them the app just doesnt solve my use case Id love to be able to update my review to 5 stars ifwhen those features are added        Almost Great Critical Missing Features

get breaks every hour This may be perfect for students but not the worker especially the boss lol Being self employed I forget to take breaks A resetting timer every 3 hours would be the perfect app for someone like me Try making the timer at least go up to three hours I thought this would be very beneficial for me Do I really have to reset it too Anyway listen to the purchasers relaunch and get more buyers Apps like this are useful with the right features I like the idea and layout its cool           Seriously Most People Dont

I work from home and get into the habit of getting up and doing nonwork related tasks This simple app helps me set a focus goal I have used it for a week and have it up all the time A nice modification would be to show actual time instead of military time Thanks                 Simple to use very useful

Add a 2 minute break option and Ill be happy                 Nice and Simple

Is there really no way to pause during a session I like the look and feel of this app but its lacking in functionality as others have posted previously Please add pause at least Definitely potential here for a great app with high rating Thanks     No pause

Very useful for intense work if you are working all day long and then feel like a lemon                 Awesome app
