App provides some sort of color blind test I don t know how it relates to an assessment an ophthalmologist would use At best it s a short timed game Easy and entertaining If it finds a problem you should see an eye doc If it doesn t false negative we ll oops Probably tests something Radiant_Energy
The app appears to work fine but I haven t tested anyone who is colorblind yet A previous review indicated people who are not colorblind should not see anything on some plates That is true but it does not appear that the app is scoring those wrong I m not colorblind and I got 100 on the test I use the actual plate in my job so I understand how they work I do agree that 5 sec is probably too short for some people to respond Works fine but could be too fast NPsych Doc

I a monochrome I dont see any colors There needs to be a nothing option on all the cardsthis is good start for an app I have two areas of concern it needs to be fully comparable iPad in horizontal mode and it needs to have an option for seeing nothing on all screens Those of us who are monochrome cant see any of the numbers and the test needs to show that Good but

Lots of people do not understand usespecially when we run a traffic light or wear miss matched clothes for me I can see many colors but just cannot identify them I am color blind

There needs to be a way to lengthen the 5second time limit for each item on the test Also all the answer choices should always be in numerical order and the nothing choice should consistently be in the same place for each question Otherwise its mostly just a test of how fast you can find tap answer buttons And why are the answer buttons displayed in various colors with poorly colorcontrasting text How can that possibly be a good idea for a test like this Anyway the answers should be typed in by the users not multiple choicemultiplechoice makes guessing too easythats not the way this test is supposed to be administered Whatever real eye doctor supposedly approved this app must be a real quack Its free and its worth the price

This test is using the Ishihara test plates This test is using the plates used for people who have color blindness as well as platesfor normal color vision therefore people with no color blindness WILL NOT see anything on those plates Someone with normal color vision will get a 80 score and think they are color blind AgainThere are plates being used in this test to determine what a person WITH A color blindness would seeas well as plates for some with no color blindness so someone with NO CLOLOR blindness wont see it and it will count AGAINST their score This is wrong and scientifically inaccurate Its unethical to make people think they have a color blindness when they dont APP INVENTOR needs to do their research TESTING IMPROPERLY

For some reason my 7 year old loves to play this over and over The timer and sound effects combined with changing images make for a great app Very nicely done and the dr at my local eye hospital was very impressed He should be this is so much better than the outdated easilypredictable cards they still use Fun and accurate
