"We gave this application to several children ages 4-8. All of them liked this application best of the coin counting applications we looked at. It can be used either at home or at school for ...
No sound Coin math
My kids dont like the little kid voice on this app but it teaches them the basics and thats the point Its a good app Basic but Great
There should be dollar bills in the advanced make change No one uses half dollars or dollar coins anymore Unrealistic
This app is pretty good My kindergartener loves to play it but it confuses her because at times coins seem to be all the same size Id give it five stars if the sizes of the coins were a little more distinct All in All good
In coin counting I want more challenging questionsmaybe amounts that are more than 10 Good product
I agree with the person who stated that the 50 cent pieces and the dollar pieces are confusing Its great they have them but add them for a higher level A first grader needs to just practice the most common change In addition it would be better if you have a beginning level that only goes up to one dollar too easy or too hard needs level settings
This was a great find Unlike other coin counting apps we tried this one provides more exercises for beginning learners I especially liked the one that teaches a coins association with its value Others apps were mostly focused on the addition and offered nothing to reinforce recognition I would have given it 5 stars if it had spoken the coins names when they were selected Hopefully included in a future version Options make it A
It would be really nice for a reset button if the child makes a mistake You should be able to reset the current problem If you hit the start over button it sends you on to a new problem Its a pretty good app and very applicable to what my daughter is doing in school now Coin Math
Use in my classroom all the time Good for any child needing money help Fabulous
Good although should show how to make change Also if child doesnt get it correct after 3 tries should show the child correct answer Good
I found this app to be worth purchasing for a couple reasons One reason as a teacher it is very appealing because it fits perfectly with the Common Core Standards of 2nd grade A second reason is that the app as a lot of different activities that allow students to progress through the activities and also makes it easier to meet the needs of all students Good app for teachers
This is a wonderful app to use with students It has multiple levels which makes it easy to differentiate My students really enjoy using it and you can monitor progress with the classroom version Great App
I used this app for a math lesson for a small group They loved it and got a lot out of it My only quorum is that I would love to have a little more control for the math lesson Good for lessons
I am a second grade teacher and I used this in my classroom to reinforce coins Its the best app out there for differentiating for your students All kids can play it whether they barely can identify the coins to the kids that can count past 500 best money app out there
i love this app and so does my son it is great for learning math skills and money skills it is fun and engaging easy to use and not too mundane like other math apps i also like that it provides guidance when an answer is wrong so the player knows what mistake he made would be great to have scoring as an incentive educational fun and engaging
Great for my kids to learn on Thank you
App works well for my 1st grader He loves to use it and its helped him improve his coin math Great to introduce when doing homework Great way to get them to practice
The coins are vibrant The activity builds comprehension Solid money app Good job
My son is in 2 grade and is really struggling to understand US coins remember their names and value and learning to add them Most apps Ive tried start at a point thats beyond him This is the first app that starts at the very beginning and progresses But you can start where ever your child is in their learning Im excited to let him use this app Best Ive found
It helps my 1st grader but he wonders where 050 and 1 coins are Ideas for revs mix obverse and reverse add Golden dollar add half dollar Good App
My second grade twins have trouble adding coins It is very helpful that this game starts out with the most basic practice The problem is that the inclusion of the 50 cent piece and the two types of 1 coins in the exercises is rather confusing for them because the coins are very rarely used or even seen and they are not included in their school lessons at this level Mixed
The app is fun and engaging It is a great practice tool for older students with delays as well For this reason I dislike the juvenile voice I do not find it cute or endearing Why decrease the apps appropriateness for a broader audience with this unnecessary feature A more neutral voice would improve the app Educator
No ads my kids is coming along and building confidence No complaints here Great app
