Ive been using the app and camera for about 2 months now and love it Did my research and happy with my purchase                 So far so great

Without repeating other reviews there has never been in my opinion greater integration of software and hardware The ease of use the ability to quickly access real time and recorded images and the intuitive interface make this probably the greatest and most useful thirdparty device associated with my Apple products I bought two cameras and may get more Five stars A no brainer                 Plain Simplicam

I love this camera It was simple to set up The app makes it very easy to access the cameras to check on my pets and home while Im away I wish there was a way to install one of the cameras outside so I can use the night vision feature                 Satisfied Simplicam User

Its been several days and have yet been able to cancel their subscription Their help email goes in circles to cancel buttons that do not exist and I cant wait half an hour to speak to someone to answer their phone I guess I have to cancel my credit card     Sneaky trap

I work in software development so I know a good piece of kit when I see it The software is easy to use and works great My only minor complaint is that automated payments are handled via iTunes and not the app itself I think its a policy of Apple so youll need to go outside the app if you ever want to change your payment plan                 Solid piece of software

I have to have my headset in to hear the live steaming sound Otherwise I like the app and think it is very solid              Good but why cant I hear the sound

The app takes a while to get used to The interface is decent but not overly intuitive The method of jogging around your captured footage from their server is a bit lackluster and the speed in which it fetches your video recordings from their server needs to be faster Some days are slower than others Why cant I forward to the next alert with a single button instead of always having to drag to the next instance Detection sensitivity could use some refinement So many false alerts Camera that points outdoors is always notifying me off grass and leaves moving as well as clouds changing light around the cameras view           Decent but needs work

Great app and it has not even crashed once yet and that is impressive and very user friendly What I suggest is that you add an button the app to turn on and off notifications easily without going in setting Like make a button for when your in home when you go out you just click away And it would be great if you upgraded the screen resolution to iPhone 6 plus Thank you Highly recommend                 Great app

This is a great camera and the monthly cost is amazingly low I keep one facing the front door and one facing into the back yard Love it Had a few glitches but I contacted the company and they responded immediately and were extremely helpful I give it 4 stars because the night quality isnt perfect but again for the price I am paying I can deal with it              Cant beat the cost

The cameras work well and function as they are supposed to Additionally their customer service team is amazing I do I have one major complaint When setting up a recording schedule you are only given the option to tell the camera when you want it off rather than on This may not seem like a big deal except that if you use it while at work for a nanny cam you have to remember to turn it on every Monday morning and off every Saturday morning For example you cannot set it to turn on every MonFri from 7am6pm You have to set it to turn off every MonFri between the hours of 6pm7am This means it wont automatically come on Monday morn and it will automatically come on Saturday morn Pretty inconvenient that they dictate what your scheduling options are when you are paying for the service and when that means if you inadvertently forget to turn it on Monday morn and you come home to find out your kid took a tumble you wouldnt be able to look back to see how it happened conversely if you forget that it came on Saturday when you dont need it morning and you walk around the house half dressed that is being recorded           GREAT customer service

This is just what we were looking for Video quality is great sound quality is decent changing settings is easy the app is very user friendly Very happy                 Perfect for us

So Ive only been using my new system for a short while but so far its great I think the motion sensitivity is a little much even with the settings and it triggers an event when a cars headlights drive by one of our front of house windows at night so Closeli should adjust for that but otherwise its great And we signed up for the 499mo 24 hour cloud video save feature It works great              So far so good Great feature set and highly polished

When it comes down to it there are two choices in this space and I have no issue with Google For me it is about the features and Simplicam and the Closeli app simply work better for me I travel a ton and am using this both for home security and as a baby monitor for my twins So the alert notifications and the detail at which I can set them individually is key I agree with some other feature requests below but they are just that Feature requests not negative star worthy Especially since their customer service has been top notch and they are responding to those feature requests faster than the other guys Ok now for my feature request Let me use some other old outdoor IP cameras with Closeli or make one I can easily setup outside                 Better than the other guys in a few key ways

We tried to employ a Simplicam as our baby monitor camera Connected to a strong WiFi network the camera constantly lapses into Uhoh Your camera is disconnected mode It cycles on and off a dozen times per evening Completely unacceptable Weve reattached the camera to the network and hoped for a firmware update to make this camera useable So far nothing I think its time for a Dropcam        A decent image if it works

The camera is a fabulous product with a great performance price point and no Google behind the company However no matter how good a product is having quality customer service is a necessity I made my initial purchase as soon as the camera became available Setup was as easy as it gets and the camera workedfor a week at which point it refused to connect to the network and could not be reset Customer service was excellent The team tried to troubleshoot and then realizing it was a hardware issue had me return the camera for a replacement Since then all has been greatbut the customer service experience is what makes it all worthwhile and why I will purchase a second camera from them they even gave me free recording capabilities because of my troubles which was beyond what they needed to do Try the camera and the great company behind it I am sure you will be delighted with your decision                 Great product and fabulous customer service

Set up was very easy Ive been using for about a week and dont have any complaints I had a question about the detection zones so I contacted them and they respondedmade sure I had that feature                 Very easy to use

So easy to set up and works so well I have a 100000 home security system that works great but I cant ever get it to send me the right alerts first day in and this one already works better a must have for home security                 LOVE IT

The options are great You will find all options you can think of except auto turn onoff based on whether youre home or not It has alternate features that compensate for that Perhaps they are better turn off when it detects your face                 Easy to use cheaper entry cost and monthly subscription than competitors

My friends use DropCam I did my research on all of these types of cameras in the market and liked the features this has This is as good as DropCam if not better The quality and functionality is really good I have two of these in my house with a 1 day plan Would highly recommend                 Works as advertised and better

It doesnt do what it is supposed to do Notifications are not predictable I can be running around the cam and wouldnt get any notifications Saved schedule I gave up It just doesnt work anymore The cam itself is fine though     Broken

We use the cameras in the main rooms of my motherinlaws house to check on her and make sure shes safe There are never glitches We highly recommend this product                 Great technology

Until now it has been the easiest camera to set up Five minutes out of the box I was watching the scene on my iPhone Face detection is not ready for prime time but in my case was not important Nice pictures                 Very easy to set up

I can begin to express my happiness with this product I purchased several other models and app from the competition Samsung foscam eBay Chinese This is Hands down the best No issues It takes a little bit of navigation to learn the app but once I learned it totally easy My biggest praise is how easy it was to set up Went very smooth I recommend the simplicam and the app to anybody that wants a less expensive option to wifi camera surveillance No tears no frustration with this Finally something that does what it says its going to do                 A all the way

Finally a system thats both easy to use and set up Previously I had purchased another system which was impossible to set up and failed after two months It is gathering dust in my garage Cant recommend this system enough Love the two way audio and it is simple to turn on and off from my phone I have three cameras and am thinking about purchasing an additional one                 Terrific System

Ive been using this for six months and its everything I need The camera has great colors in the day and adequate night vision The service is very reasonable The camera is simple to set up and add frequent faces so you dont get an alert everytime someone in the family walks through the room You wont be disappointed                 Excellent camera and service

The app is easy to navigate and shows events for one to quickly review The face recognition is beta and does not allow one to register a person from the history but one must have each person go through a lengthy process for registration This does not work for my mail man neighbors or friends as asking them to sit for a registration is a bit creepy Occasionally the cameras need to be unplugged to get events to register and this cannot be done via the app which is critical if you are on vacation and they need to be rebooted I would recommend the simplicam but the monthly charges can add up for extra cameras or length of history They also do not allow any other integration with Smarthome devices which would be nice to detect motion or sound and automate other home automation devices              Great App Needs a few enhancements to be perfect
