Chakra Chime

Easy to use meditation app Helped me get back into the practice of meditation again I used to sometimes be distracted by the though did I remember to set my alarm And so the last few minutes of my sit Id keep wondering But with the chime at the beginning I have an easy notification that the alarm has been set Good for beginners and more experienced meditators who need an alarm Also love the new journaling function Thanks              Lovely and easy to use

No frills just perfect Two sounds a bowl and a bell Both resonate beautifully and ring on forever                 Lovely ringing sounds

It was a decent app until the chime stopped going by off at the time I set it for        Eh

there is an option to changr the alarm sound but not the timer sound Boooo        X

I really loved this app until the most recent update I find the new menu clunky and I miss the volume slider This was a nice simple app that Ive recommended to my students many times over the past 2 years I also use and have suggested the paid version to remove the ads I wont be recommending it anymore Luckily I have a copy of the previous version stored on my lap and was able to reinstall it on my phone     Hate the update

I use this daily as an integral part of my meditation practice I really love the timer and not having to be distracted by worrying about when to finish The bowl tone is a beautiful way to start and finish a sweet meditation One glitch if a message comes in while the timer is running or if another timer or application sends an alert often the chakra timer will stop Then Ill meditate for a much longer than I was wanting to until I look up to see it has frozen I like the automatic notes feature I often find my writing to be very creative right after meditating But it is frustrating to try to correct the first line When I try to position the cursor bubble on the top line the application often mistakenly thinks I want to navigate away from the note If I hadnt saved it first all my writing disappears and I have to rewrite it from scratch Other than those two items I think this is a great little app and I highly recommend it              Near great app

I enjoyed this app until recently when it it started greed out the screen and will not let me change the time on the count down timer     Crashing and freezing

What happened to the sound     No sound

Very easy to use Sounds are very real Simplicity at its best I also love the daily journal that comes up after the meditation                 Beautiful App

The numbers for the time are lower on the screen and sit on top of the images Besides just not looking right when they are on top of the cloud image you cant read the numbers Dont like the loss of the volume slider either The help screen pulls down too easy and isnt so easy to get rid of Overall harder to navigate now     I dont like this new version

I like the chime and adjustable time I love the notes that automatically come up at the end allowing me to save realizations and then email them for safe keeping                 Great app

The app is great in its basic form but with the inapp upgrade theres a lot more flexibility I agree with the other reviewer that the built in journal is an added surprise bonus guess its not a surprise anymore if youre reading this Anyway its perfect for jotting down thoughts to do list entries shopping cart reminders you thought about during meditation oops You can star favorites easily delete them email one or all of them to yourself or others Pretty flexible Another little surprise I discovered is you can tap the chime image and immediately the chime will sound The slider just below it is the volume level so before you begin your meditation you can test the volume and set it the way you want and then hit start Brilliant Another thing worth noting the timer sound default is the chime but to change to one of the other sounds you dont find it in the settings you simply slide the screen to the right or left and the image of the bowl thunder or om will appear Thats your new sound A really nice feature is that after you have this app set up with an alarm to sound to notify you once a day when to begin the app and once you have the app running its cycle you not only can close the app but you can delete it from the active list of apps at the bottom It will still work Thats a big bonus Ive tried other apps that have to be running in the background in order to work If theyre not running you forget about them and you lose out Since the developer obviously continues to improve this app I have a couple of special wishes Now that we have iCloud could you add an iCloud sync option in the Backup Memo area so our journal entries could be backed up automatically and cross synced between iPad and iPhone versions Could you add one more sound option to choose as well This would be one with a little record button where we could record our own soundtonephrase to use to come out of meditation With over 1500 apps on my iPhone now this one has a sweet spot on my front page That says a lot                 Simple and effective a musthave app

I like it What a great practice to take 3 or 5 minutes out of daily life to become quiet and just BE It worked great on my iPhone 5 but since downloading it to my iPhone 6 the meditation alarm is not working for me I have written a couple of emails asking for help with no response           Chakra chime

I use this app on a daily basis and I really liked the simple layout and easytouse previous version This versions timer will stop counting down if I receive a notification during meditation and there is no volume control on the home screen Also I have never been able to get the meditation reminder to work        Liked previous version better

But it could use a 30second set up delay to the opening chime           Nice

I cant change the tone to be anything but high pitch chime        iPad version

This is a really nice simple app I love the sounds and the tones I also enjoy the quotes Simple but just what I need              Great sounds

I used this and it was fine for the past year and now not only does it crash but it totally freezes my phone     Freezes my phone

Really good but it would be nice if we could set it to repeat the chime automatically so we can go about our day and be reminded automatically of something like say to take a deep breath every five minutes           So far so good

Some time ago I wrote to the app creator to complain about my chime being broken and I havent received a reply My OM sounds like the Cloud so I have two Clouds and no Om The Om is very important to me and Id like to know whether I could download it again without having to pay For that reason I am giving it a low rating When they fix my problem I will change the rating     Damage app

I just uninstalled this app but it continues to run and I cannot stop it when I turn off my ipad 2 Help     Help

Gong starts going off in the middle of the night even if the app is closed Not worth the hassle I had to delete it     More trouble than it is worth

What a wonderful FREE surprise Not only can I set the chime for the start and end of my meditation I can also jot down journal notes and receive inspirational quotes I will share this with many                 Great app

I love this app I use it in my yoga classes to bring them out of the restorative pose or as an end to meditation that way I can participate thanks also the 7 tones would be a very cool feature              Yoga instructor

Would like to be able to change the chime sound and have the volume of the chime independent of the volume of the ringer              Pretty good

I love this app and its surprisingly good quality bowl chime for reminding me to take a stretch break from my desk work But its very inconvenient to have to continually reset itevery 10 minutes Also when I do it turns off Pandora but I suppose thats about Pandoras programming              Please add recurrent timer

This is a very useful tool I Love the way it opens up to My Journal right after the my meditation I also love that I can use my microphone on my iPhone to record in My Journal rather than typing in each letter There is however another feature I would love I wish there were a way to synchronize this app on my iPhone with the app on my iPad Sometimes I want to add additional information to My Journal later in the day and I may have my iPhone with me instead of my iPad It would be nice if I could sync the entries in the journal I did however discover today that I can email all of my journal entries to myself so thats what I did              Really nice little app

This is a great app to help relax you I even use it at work to help draw everyone together and dissipate the stressful moments                 Finding moments for yourself

One of the goals for chakra meditation is to give attention to the vibrations associated with each chakra This app would be much better and more accurate if it incorporated the 7 tones at intervals One tone does not make sense I would even pay for this        Where are the chakra tones

I have even using this app for some time now and love when it reminds me to meditate with the soothing chime I would enjoy this app even more if it had the ability to remind me more than just once a day              Namaste

Need I say more     Utterly Useless

Previous versions were better The current version does not allow you to change the volume on the screen You have to use the phones side buttons It was better when they had a swipe bar on the screen There is an option to turn off the inspirational sayings and thats helpful With a volume swipe bar on the screen rating goes from one to 5 stars     Charcra time

This would get 5 stars if it only had two more features 1 A way to set the timer for less than 1 minute I have some 30 second practices that I would like to have on the timer 2 Customized banners so that I can have my own inspirational quotes displayed rather than whatever is pushed out And honestly some of those are pretty corny As it is this is a swell app              Good but

how about adding the ability to have the chime sound at various intervals for ex if i time my full meditation practice for 20min as a person new to meditation i might want to hear the chime at not only at the beginning and the end but also at the halfway pointor at every 5min interval so that i get a sense of where i am in the process thank you              Interval Chimes

Im glad I found this app Its is helping me learn how to breathe and begin to meditate I love the automatic journal                 Very helpful for novice
