CAP Grid

The app shows abcand d in the picture I paid 499 for the app and when I open it there are no grid numbers or abcor d in the grid as the app picture shows I may be just need more use I would not recommend this app to any of my pilots MO or MS Sorry Mike John Burkett WYWG        Not as showmen

The app looks promising I am looking at LAX grid and it is much to far north something is definitely wrong with the mapping Nice job though and I hope you keep us posted on your progress Steve Groner CAWG                 Great start

Okay for a new app but needs more development 1 The app opens with a worldwide map and then requires that the user specify a grid number or to specify a sectional name to bring up grid lines When the grid lines appear an arbitrary number of grids are numbered but not all The user must tap an unnumbered grid to identify the number The number disappears if he goes to identify a different grid Seems reasonable to expect that all grid numbers should appear when the program opens 2 The app closes if an invalid grid entry number or no number is entered 3 No latitude and longitude lines A box seems to display only latlong for the lower right corner of the grid Must be able to identify the corners of all grids and subgrids for flight planning or to niter into GPS 4 It appears the app has a tiein to ForeFlight I use Garmin Pilot The Write a Review facility doesnt scroll properly as these comments are being entered Cant see the line being typed        Needs some work

Very useful but it has an irritating feature You cant just zoom in on the national map to wherever you are and get the grid number and quadrant letters You have to enter the grid number then it displays that grid and its quadrants If you move into another grid wash and repeat I own an ipad that has a GPS chip in it and it would be really great if I could get the you are here dot on the map as well Just a few minor additionschanges and this would be a must have for any volunteer or professional SAR person           meh 7 out of 10

When I selected Seattle Sectional Grid 92 and tapped the ForeFlight button I get an error messag saying no joy latlong not recognized Ive not had time to mess with it to see if the problem is formatting for coordinates dd mm ss vs dd mmxx vs ddxx Regardless because it is quite common for some agencies to require different formats the program should at leat prot users for presence It would also be helpful if the program would allow import of higher quality topographic maps           App does not open and sync with ForeFlight Pro

Put in the cell grid now and drill down to the sub sectors you want Open in ForeFlight and find your grid by opening recent routes in the maps page What a snap Setting up a grid for training In the air and making a report Press and hold on the map and the cell grid is given to you Squadron meeting Tuesday Telling the guys                 Easy

The app goes to the grid number that was input but does not show the grid numbers on the map The launch foreflight button set the grid corners using Latlong coordinates in a flight plan and it is very easy to name each location as a use waypoint much faster than entering each manually It would be nice if you could use the keyboard to type in the grid number instead of using the spin wheel since I live in the SFO bay area and most of the grids I search are around 200           Mission Pilot

Works well just 1 flaw You have to put a grid number in if you want to see all the grid numbers Initially when you zoom in there are grids but no numbers Hopefully they will fix this              Need grid numbers on start
