CalenGoo (sync with Google Calendarâ„¢)

Every Time a new calendar app is released including Google Calendar I give it a try but always come back to this one The format is a bit dated but its still the best calendar around                 Still my goto calendar

I have tried several apps for Google calendar and this is my favorite I think and work in a weekly calendar and I like the layout and functionally for this purpose I have an available calendar for making appointments When someone makes an appointment I need to change the title from Available to persons name and change the calendar from Available to Appointments so that the available slot no longer appears on my website For this reason I would prefer it if doubletapping on an event went directly to the editing field of the event name Or if doubletapping led to a field with all the details and each detail had the option to edit For example a button next to start time to edit                 My primary calendar

Google calendar just stopped the text reminders function This has effected this app and now even the app cannot send text reminders They push pop ups as a replacement but they do not function in the same way and frequently get missed Now Im missing appointments and looking for an alternative Boo because I used to love this app           Used to be better

I keep having to redownload this app for my appointments to stay current And now I cant even get it to update It keeps erasing my appointments This app isnt even worth it being free and I paid for it I have sent off request to help me fix this and they have not responded If you see these reviews please contact me and fix my app now     It doesnt WORK i paid 4 this app

I had to stop using this app for a while because when Google changed its way of syncing I was losing appts and everything was a mess For a while it was a disaster So I started using the native iPhone calendar app and synced it with my outlook at work The calengoo developer was very responsive and suggested a way to sync calengoo with the native calendar I passed on that because I needed to sync with something on my pc Even more discouraging even the native calendar app was getting unreliable now So I kept waiting until the reviews for calengoo indicated that the new version was working properly and then I switched back to calengoo again The new version is great The syncing works like a charm and the interface is terrific Very smooth and the new templates make scheduling a snap Once again calengoo is the best                 Back on top

After current update instead of showing 12pm in my time zone it shows 12am no matter what I set the timezone on        Day view shows 12 hours ahead after update

This is indeed the best calendar application available on iPhoneiPad Calengoo a significant number of options that can be tweaked in order to customize the app to ones needsI should know Ive spent years fine tuning it The options can be overwhelming at times and I recommend backing up often but theres no reason not to like this The developer is quite helpful and responsive as well and Im so happy this wasnt one of those apps with a short shelf life because I use it daily                 Excellent customization capabilities

I adore this calendar It syncs flawlessly with google cal With some proper set up I have three different calendars synced between my husband and I so we dont have to argue about whether one of us told the otheryou know that fight One thing that would make it truly perfect for my needs would be to have the capability to schedule a text reminder when Im setting up an appointment Edited to add Google added the ability for users to create colors Calengoo doesnt render them well and it can be hard to tell some colors apart Id like to see this improve Update I had so much trouble with time zone syncing I had to switch apps And as much functionality as is in this app it really needs a IU refresh                 Nearly perfect

This is an excellent app for families on the go Easy to use Each family member can have their own color in the calendar which makes organizing a snap Syncs with Google calendar so you can make changes from your desktop too Love this app                 Great app for families

Ive been using Calengoo for several years it is totally worth the purchase price It is updated and improved frequently and works just like the web version that you use in your browser My favorite app                 My mostused app

Its the ideal app for gcal users But with two big issues First it only syncs when you open the app It needs to sync in the background That may be an ios limitation but its still a huge shortcoming Second it needs to have a notification center widget that displays todays events and that has a quick add event button              Very good gcal app except two big issues

This has been my most used iPhone app for the past 4 years It permanently resides in my Dock I love its innovative design configurability and its solid direct Google Calendar and Task sync And the developers response to issuesquestions via email has always been very fast and always helpful                 Excellent App Excellent Support

UPDATE 5122015 If you look at all choices in Settings Display and Use All you will find tons of goodies that make the CalenGoo experience one if a kind This is my goto app for my entire schedule which is packed with professional and personal items CalenGoo handles it all effortlessly Also I add events with Siri through the Reminders native app Incredibly efficient UPDATE 3272015 The bugs have all been fixed CalenGoo is back to excellence This is my mostused app I rely on it multiple times a day on both iPad Air and iPhone 6 UPDATE 1152014 As you can see below all my previous reviews I DID love CalenGoo Sadly Im looking for another Calendar app The problems just get worse with each update Sync between iPhone iPad and Google Calendar is terribly flawed Last week all events I added to iphone didnt sync for days Then some synced with Google some synced completely with iPad and some are still stuck on just the iphone Ipad sync is just as unreliable Lately I have to check both iphone and iPad every day to see what events tasks and reminders I may have added weeks ago that may or may not have synced This is unacceptable UPDATE 4714 CalenGoo is a gem Flawless Ive used it many times a day for a few years now on both iPhone and iPad See previous reviews below Original Finally Retired my Paper Planner CalenGoo has been my goto app for a long time Easy to use highly efficient speedy reliable and adaptable I have colorcoded everything which adds to the usefulness one little example is I have set it up so that the current day always appears a bright yellow no matter which calendar view Im usingday week or month I no longer use my paper planner my notebook todo list Googles online calendar my iPhone calendar or any other reminder system CalenGoo does it all and much faster I send reminders to myself via text message and emailand can set those up for next hour or next year I can add Tasks very quickly and editing anything is so very simple Keeping order to my hectic schedule is efficient and always very easy to revise Automatic syncing assures me that all info is on my iPhone and iPad CalenGoo works offline It is featurerich and highly adjustable It is absolutely essential Update I love Floating Events When I have something I need to do soon instead of sending myself multiple reminders I now set it up as a Floating Event All Day So the task will appear on my calendar today but does not clutter up any other day If I dont mark it as done then it moves itself to tomorrow automatically It can have an end date so wont float indefinitely CalenGoo continues to help me be more productive because its quick to enter and edit tasks events and reminders it syncs flawlessly with Google and ios calendars as well as perfect sync between iphone and iPad Update Used many times every day for two years Never had problems syncing or with anything Update The more Ive used CalenGoo the better it getsbecause Ive tweaked the settings and colors to be perfectly suited for my needs Update Even better with the updates I continue to rely on Calengoo to keep me organized                 Top of the Line

Since update a few days ago app no longer opens Useless     Crashes wont open now

For the most part this app is nice There are a few items that still need to be addressed First the sort order of searched items is oldest to newest That is incredibly misguided The sort order should be reversed to a useful newest to oldest Second the Print feature lacks any item filtering capability Please add ability to filter selected events by text strings in event title description fields           A few loose ends

This app has never disappointed It easily displays multiple views days weeks and months CalenGoo works much better than the iPhones own basic calendar I have had no problems issues or glitches of any kind                 Excellent Favorite App Ever

This is the best I had to try another calendar app and was shocked at how slow and cumbersome it was Calengoo is a dream It shows views immediately and has all the bells and whistles I need I highly recommend it Thank you I cant thank you enough If you want to know how great this app is just try a different one to see how frustrating that can be                 Relieved happy

Whats up Since the update yesterday I can no longer see anything on my iphone app after 6pm and events are going into calendar on wrong date Also there is no where to contact anyone for help in the app of anywhere online I have owned this app for many years and loved it Now its useless     The update ruined the app I loved

So I have used this for about a year now and have always had good luck until Well I realized it is not syncing not even between my iPad and iPhone Now because people at my salon also make appointments for me I am triple booked and now Im making my clients mad by having to call and reschedule them Thanks calengoo Officially looking for a good calendar     Was good BUT

There are many things lacking in the iOS calendar app for me mainly being the month view I like being able to see the entire month at a glance and Calengoo offers that and SOOO much more There literally is no part of this program that isnt customizable and they keep making it better and BETTER I have tried about every other comparable calendar program and havent found anything to take me away from Calengoo The customer service and response is amazing You wont go wrong with this stable app                 HandsDown The Best Calendar App

I have an appointment intensive professional and have used and paid for many calendar apps I have left and come back I cant say enough about its front and back end capabilities There is a learning curve and you tweak as you go with ready help from the developer Like having your own customized app                 My goto calendar app

I love this app and use it everyday The customization is fantastic and the mini week view is my go to Even has Exchange support under local calendars too Would love added weather and widgets                 Best Calendar App

It now has floating events and the ability to mark them as complete with a simple checkbox Syncing is now super fast too I have thousands of events going back several years and it handles them with no problem The app is very well done I bought it as soon as it came out and from day one it had a very polished feel Since then the developer has been very active with updates and very responsive to emails You can search create edit move and copy events The syncing and offline mode work great It also has extensive customizations allowing you to make it look and work the way you want If you get the app be sure to go to the settings and look through the advanced settings Kudos to the developer for excelent customer support and for being very active with improvments and updates                 My number one app

I have used calengoo for a long time and love it I downloaded the new google calendar app and realize how much better calengoo is No competition Calengoo synchs no problem and looks so much better                 Better than google

Calengoo and I have had an on and off again relationship for the past few years I understand the secrecy of iOS updates makes it hard for a developer to know how updates will affect an app but this developer is responsive to all my emails My busy life can change in an instant and the most recent updates like floating events allow me the freedom to not have to adjust my entire schedule Keep up the great work                 Love calengoo

I also have had this app for years and have loved it But it has become completely unreliable for me The time zone thing is completely messed up all of my appointments get shifted to the wrong time and my phone app keeps changing time zones and changing all my appointments Full day appointments are moved around to the day after even after I correct it in the app itself I travel to a lot cant rely on it anymore nor can I wait any longer for the developer to fix it Sadly I have deleted it from my iPhone and my iPad I sure wish they hadnt messed it up it was so perfect before        It was SO good now its not

Great app that can be tailored to individual tastes of appearance and functionality Latest update has a great improvement in the month view Tapping a day brings a popup window with an agenda view of the days events and events can be edited or added May take some time to get things adjusted the way you want because of the large number of settings but then the settings can be backed up within a given calendar day which can be searched                 Very Nice

Google calendar went through a login change but it looks like your app has not responded yet None of my calendar events are synced with google Please get this fixed     Sync no longer works

This was the best calendar out there until they removed the feature where it sends you a text message PLEASE ADD THAT BACK AS A FEATURE        Removing text notifications

This is a great app that really continues to have many features other newer apps lack It is very customizable Frequently updated It does seem to need a UI update I wish the text would scale up on month view when you zoom in              Solid App years later

I love this app It does great at managing multiple calendars with each person getting their own colors and privacy My only request for next update would be to please allow pictures to attach to details Example would be wedding invitations party info That way I can have all info at a pinch Please                 Great interface needs just a little more

Calengoo makes Apples builtin calendar app an abacus by comparison CalenGoo is a terrific planning tool if you have to sync and edit Google calendars from several users way beyond iCals capabilities as it provides scheduling and viewing features that go beyond anything else Ive used or seen It also syncs with Google tasks a function I dont use because Google tasks isnt GTDfriendly The scrolling and pinch zoom features are slick makes the calendar easy to navigate like an extension of your finger Calendars can appear in the same colors that they have on Google Theres also the option to sync calendars that remain out of sight or to have calendars that arent synced at allagain very useful for heavy users                 THE Choice For Google Calendar Power User

Fixed you can copy from events without having to go into edit Fixed Entering the date is normal now Those were my two issues youve now jump to five stars This is the best Google calendar app Ive found and Ive tried a bunch of them Update Oh no they only fix it on the iPhone not the iPad You still have to use that crappy date entry form Back down to three stars Fix it           Was the best almost is again

Has closer to all the functionality of google calendar than any app Ive found including tasks Very good customer service too which is unusual for apps I submitted a bug report and was promptly sent a beta version with the bug corrected                 Best app for google calendar
