This used to be the best calculator app but after iOS 9 and an update to the app from Apalon it takes a looooooong time to open Takes 30 Seconds To Open

I was looking for a calculator for my iPad Air 2 when I came across this app Im very impressed by it as it has a clean user interface that adjusts to scientific mode automatically when you flip the tablet to landscape view with the standard calculator being displayed in portrait It has a builtin unit converter which is extremely convenient For example today I randomly had to convert Indian currency INR to and I was happy to already have access to a unit converter without having to search the App Store Definitely worth the price Simple Convenient Great features NO ADS
As a Mathematics teacher I need for my students to write expressions the correct way Some calculators have that functionality letting the user to write an expression and evaluate the order of operations correctly This one evaluates the order of operations correctly but you have to learn how to enter the expression So you have to know what you are doing it does not provide for inexperienced users On the other hand I am a calculator veteran my first calc was the TI30 in 1983 As an experienced user I appreciate the design and flexibility of this calculator but as an educator I want more from it That is why I rated it 4 stars Dont get me wrong I paid for the full vertion Scientific Part must improve
