Bus New York City

I have never encountered a bug error or issue with this app in nearly a year                 Good design flawless performance

It is 10302014 at 540pm and the Manhattan bus M72 should be showing 9 buses but only shows 4 The other free bus app does show 9 and Ive confirmed this speaking with the driver and on my daily commute back as there are missing buses on this app Please fix this I love your design and app but it does not work for me You can use the example above        Beautiful design but still does not work despite request for fix

Aww the wonderful feeling of running 4 blocks to your stop to catch that bus 2 minutes away Only to get there and realize its a phantom bus and the next wont be there for 12 minutes Just another day           Unreliable

This is a terrific app and worth every cent many times over It loads very quickly updates every 30 seconds and is very userfriendly Its really great if you like a particular route where the buses dont come all that frequently I use it to decide whether to try for that bus or to take a different one And if theyre all delayed I know to bail altogether and walk to the subway Btw before doing so you can check alerts to make sure there are no problems w the trains and for the lines that have MTA arrival clocks in the station realtime ETAs are avail on BusNYC app Whats more I gave BusNYC feedback about some misinformation and got a response the next day                 Thanks BusNYC

I dont know what is going on to the app Unfortunately it continues to crash every time I open it I redownloaded and I did a soft reset to my IPhone     Keeps crashing

First let me just say that I rarely write reviews for apps but I think this bus app is really something that has improved greatly since Ive had it on my phone and it is a real game changer Its handy as a resource to map my travels through the city but also as a realtime Updater as to when the bus is coming I live in Queens about five blocks from the subway and there is a bus stop opposite my apartment where the buses bring me to the subway I can using this app to stay in my apartment until about two minutes before the bus is coming and just walk out go to the bus stop and get driven to the subway Bravo                 Excellent app to get full use of MTA

They just updated this to work again in iOS 8 If you take the bus this is the app for you It can be very simple to use but it also lets you get pretty granular with your routes If you spend the time to put all your favorite stops in there and look at where they go you may even discover new ways of getting to where you need to be                 Best there is for buses

This is the best app Ive tried Unlike other apps Ive tried GPS information is very accurate A widget would come very handy to check bus times in an instant                 Great app Missing widget

This really helps see where the next bus actually is I use favorites to quickly get to frequently used locations Lots of information makes practice worthwhile                 It works even better on the iPhone 6

This app is a pleasure to have in the morning Almost deadon accuracy for city busses The only issue you will run into is the MTA sending out busses with old damaged GPS trackers that tell this app there is no bus coming                 Very big help

This app is terrible It is way too confusing The writing and the maps with the symbols are too smushed together and you cant click what you want I dont even understand how to read the app or bus schedule or anything You should have just a regular list of stops for each line and simply say what time the bus comes on the weekdays weeknights weekends Just like the signs you put outside at the bus stops They are nice and simple I paid money for this app that I never use because I dont get it waste of money and do not recommend     Review

If you regularly use the bus system in NYC there are no apps more useful than this one Believe me iTunes is filled with similar apps Ive tried but discarded Given traffic in NYC knowing EXACTLY when any particular bus will arrive is impossible even with GPS technology But this will get you as close as you can get so you can make better decisions for using one of the best transit systems on earth                 One of the musthave apps for getting around NYC

The design and usability of this app make it bad but then the information was not even correct What a waste of money     Not worth even a dollar

This is the best MTA Bus app Ive found on the App Store but that is saying very little as theyre all clunky and most are slower than scanning the QR code on the bus stop itself The one feature that would make this the best app by far is to simply put the users favorites on the home screen Right now the logo and ken burns style picture montage that just slows load is the only thing on the home screen except for a news ticker I didnt download the app to get news about the app I got it because I want to know when my bus that I use to commute everyday is coming Please pretty please make this update It would mean a ton Thanks           Please make this more usable

I use this app religiously I take the express bus everyday and this app is a god sent I do wish they would correct the following though A lot of times the bus GPS position disappears from the screen causing me not to know if a bus is actually coming I have to wait at the stop and hope I didnt miss it Very annoying              Great but

This is the best app Ive seenused to date I just wish it was a bit more accurate especially during bad weather days and the posted timetable              Good but always room for improvement

I dont know what I would do without this app There is nothing better than waiting inside a warm dry house rather than standing outside waiting for a late bus It helps me be strategic in my commute planning                 Indispensable

This app has been my preferred way to get bus information and location for years Im glad it is continually improving My only suggestion would be to bypass the welcome screen so i can get my bus and subway with inapp addon information even faster                 A very nice way to see that youll be waiting for a bus

Lets face it nobody really likes riding the MTAs busestheyre slow noisy uncomfortable and often leaky when it rains Whats even worse than riding them though is waiting for one standing quietly at a bus stop as the minutes of your life slip away forever with NO IDEA when or even if the next bus is coming This app solves that problem by showing you not only the estimated arrival time of the buses but also a map pinpointing their exact current locations You can even watch them plod across town in real time as they inch toward your stop For taking a little of the misery out of riding the bus the developers have more than earned their 299 I think                 Works great

The favorites feature and real time information are great features for a given stop However like other NYC bus apps Ive used the NYC data feed for buses just isnt very accurate I find it correct about 60 of the time I dont know why Typically this appears as no bus scheduled but one shows up anyway which doesnt cut down on my time at the bus stop since I have to chance it every time Also it would be great if you could rename your favorites since the map feature and stop name alone make it hard to guess which stop Im looking at Buses going in two different directions can have the same stop name too My least favorite feature is the timetable of a given route It seems to give me the opposite direction of travel to the bus stop im at The pdf the city provides is more user friendly Ill continue to use the app since its still the best real time bus app for NYC but it could certainly be better           Could be great but needs enhancement

Moved to the city 3 years ago found a recommendation online for this app purchased it and have never looked back I cant vouch for other apps free or paid because Ive never felt the need to switch                 3 years now fantastic app
