The BMW M Power Meter is now available as a free download on Apple Store for both iPhone and iPad owners.The application is supporting English language. It weighs in at only 10MB to download. It is highly advisable to have the latest app version installed so that you don`t miss out on the fresh new features and improvements. The current app version 2.0 has been released on 2014-11-19. The Apple Store includes a very useful feature that will check if your device and iOS version are both compatible with the app. Most iPhone and iPad are compatible. This cant be for real I can sit on the toilet and fake this app into thinking its going 252 mph And thats with a 14 mile time over 17 seconds no less So picture this the worlds fastest car 253 mph actually but it cant outaccelerate a Honda Odyssey I dont think Im going to disgrace my M3 by trying to use this app with it First BMW gives us the abominations that are the X5M and X6M whose pictures are prominently featured in this app and now this crappy app Please This ones getting DELETED Hmm I dont get it
All of its great features and slick interface are rendered useless by a stupid requirement that the iPhone be standing straight up and down or perfectly flat My cars iPhone is permanently tilted which is a good thing so I cant use this app Many other apps including Rev allow the phone to be oriented in Amy direction with a simple calibration Great but useless
Nice for BMW enthusiasts however its not totally necessary still a fun app to play around in the Apple watch app for this works alright you dont have to pull out your phone to check your g Overall pretty cool Pretty cool
Descent app GForce numbers seem to be accurate Issues This app is entirely useless to check 060 time it starts timing when you hit the start button not when you start moving You can try and hit the button at the same time but then you have to take focus off the road Told me 060 was over 20sec when in reality it was around 5 GPS does not activate until you start the recording so theres a brief delay Chart axis are not labeled well making them difficult to read Ok needs some improvements

Like someone else said it starts counting as soon as you hit the button That is not the way it should work it should start as soon as it detects motion Worthless app might as well use a stopwatch Starts counting before vehicle moves
14 and 1 mile distances are not correct does not use gps to check acceleration derived distances Needs update

This is a very poorly designed app in that it forces you to Touch the Start Button to begin the timer This requires the user to take their eyes off the road and hand off the steering wheel while accelerating Very dangerous and foolish design Poor Design

Sadly the only thing meriting a star is the hightech graphics Though I didnt expect the Power Meter to be deadon accurate it would at least be nice if error could be reduced to plus or minus 510 In my case and even considering my iPhone was properly mounted and calibrated the app was about 15 mph off at 30 mph Also if you register a profile with BMW they are supposed to supply you with an access code key that will allow you to change the skin graphics well despite my registering and reregistering at least three times the access code provided continued to come up with a message indicating my code was invalid Im a huge BMW enthusiast but this will dissappoint and frustrate users more than the companys infamous idrive Nice graphics but utterly useless
Some of these kids who dont even have a car must realize you have to keep it vertical and still while in your car eg Cupholder or docked At a standstill hit start and then go Fairly accurate if used correctly Doesnt work off navigation it works off movementso yes moving it forward by tilt will accelerate you pretty quick Use correctly
So disappointed The results are questionable at best the graphics are ok but the whole app just lacks the luster of the BMW brand This feels hacked together Its buggy and there are a variety of spelling and odd grammatical mistakes For instance from the instructions The small 1x1 of the BMW M Power Meter uh what Why does it feel like BMW doesnt take the app store seriously and feels like littering it with more crap instead of spending a little money to build high quality apps that are real showpieces in the app store I own a 325i and Im happy that BMW spends their time and energy on building cars instead of iPhone apps because this app is a total lemon Its only saving grace is that it was free Bottom line save your bandwidth and move on from this one Fails in so many ways

I started it and just walked from my room to living room It said my max speed is 15mhp LoL Not accurate
Its pretty good all in all but it needs some improvement response time or Lets get some new controls settings some RPM Step it up developers
I got his app trying to measure 0100kph times And with launch control I got a 0100kph time of 20s Definitely doesnt work and it appears to start measuring times as soon as one hits start A simple change in code can fix this start measuring when the kph is greater than 0 0100kph on a golf MK 7 R
Seriously doubt the veracity of this app First test was running the length of my kitchen Got clocked going over 129 mph Thought that was a tad fast Test 2 sat on the recliner went even faster just by waving the phone twice Afraid to test it with car Ill wait for the update Fastest Recliner
There are literally a dozen performance apps in the app store Every single one of them is more accurate than this dog A run in Rev and in Dynolicious gives me a 060 of about 7 seconds same stretch of road using this app 10 seconds and I made the run twice with the same result BMW you should be embarrassed

Just tried this app out in my 2007 BMW 335i 060 in 482 seconds which is accurate I decided to try it out after experiencing some turbo lag but it seems like the 060 time is not affected by this lag Only wish I could lay my iPhone flat instead of upright But other than that a great app Accurate
