There is a known issue or feature in that an iPhone on iOS 8x wont connect to OSX 1010x Unfortunately I didnt know that until after I downloaded and tried to use Blueclick Great idea but doesnt work My iPhone 6 with iOS 83 will not pair with my Macbook Air mid 2012 edition both BTW 40 compatible on OSX 10103 I get an error message on the iPhone that the Macbook Air is not compatible Google this and search Apple support forums It is well known One regular contributor and expert even wrote a treatise on how this is how it is supposed to work Further this app does not seem to make separate use of the BT communication layer as with headphones or other peripherals etc as it never syncs when having the Mac Blueclick server started and running and the iPhone Blueclick app running It just doesnt work Dont spend 299 on this app Just plain doesnt work
