I count myself as a both a cat person and a birder birdie Maybe its not the best idea to put the two together but I enjoy bird watching as a hobby This app has been fun as a game but also very informative Ive bought some of the more expensive bird apps but this one has a lot in it to like for a buck The pictures are fantastic the information on each bird is extensive and like I said the game is great I got this from the Whats Hot list and I am very happy I did Bird Girl
I enjoyed relaxing and learning the birds on the appbut once you saw the same shot you just wound up memorizing the photo not really learning what the bird looks like for example the quail didnt look like a quail but once I knew the photo was a quail I knew the picture but if I saw the quail on the road I would not recognize it from that photo I think varying the photos of the birds would help but it was fun enough I like the testchallenge of it but Id like to see a lot more birds less exotics and more birds one would actually see in America Very few people ever see a trogon but there were 3 on this app Fun diversion for the money
Update Ive gotten a lot out of this app and I was hoping that it would offer more factsetc on the birds and with the new update it did for each bird there is added info on their characteristics and habitat and what they eat etc It is helpful because there is such a wide variety of birds that you want to know what makes them all different from each other Good update Next it would be great to have a search function or add more birds Original review The birds in this app look great The game quiz is fun while I play it I try to see if I can recognize the birds Ive learned in the game with the birds in my bird books I love birds
For 99 cents the app is very nice The design of the app is very plain but it works You could find all this info on the net but its nice to have eveything in one place Think about it for less than a dollar people put everything together for you What more can u ask for hehe Nice Little App
This app is fantastic It really teaches a lot about wild birds In the game though when you get to 100 complete it never finishes Great game
I really like this game It even helped me spot a Phoebe one day while birdwatching It would be great to expand this and get 5 stars by adding more birds especially some of our beautiful warblers Also you could add a whole other level of challenge by matching the bird with its song So I love this app but more birds more birds Great Pix
I am obssessed with birds so I love this app The only thing bad about it is that u should put a search bar to making finding the birds easier Good but

Would be good to add the distinctions for female male or juvenile as the photo requires Usually the male is shown but for eg Redwing Blackbird is Female Great tribute to Nature Great game Is it Male Female or Juvenile

loves this app Ive been looking for an app like this since the spring Our backyard is FULL of birds and my son was asking about the names of the birds and if the birds were in my moms yard too she lives on the opposite coast etc Now he can look at the pictures of the birds try to memorize them hes getting good and then learn a little about each one great learning app for his age hes 7 jr birdlover
For beginning birders this is a good quiz However for the even moderately active birder it is somewhat useless Each question is set up to where all that is necessary is to identify the body type The multiple choice are easily deduced so there is no incentive to examine field marks All in all it just isnt very conducive to learning or challenging Simplistic
One of the best learning experience since I was a young boy with a collection of all types of animal books and now my six year old boy enjoys it as much as I do would love to see the same for tropical plants Viva nature Thank you great job Viva Nature
The premise of the app is fairly basic But what I enjoy most about it is that it entertains me with a fun distraction on a subject that I already know quite a bit about It would seem fairly shallow compared to some of the bird explorer apps but I keep coming back to it Its a great game for casual breaks Addictive
This would be a good app IF it was correct There are several incorrect names and several wrong picture match ups Also the scoring does not carry over if you stop a game for a short period of time it continues with the score incorrect Not exactly correct

This is not an app for serious birders This is good if youre just trying to pass some time The one thing that kills me is they show a picture of a gull and their name for the bird is sea gull Pretty generic Pretty lazy
Pretty birds and fun quiz good one Im getting my bird friends to buy it next so we can see who knows the most and has high scores getting competitive is fun with this app Hey and thanks for all the info on the update I am learning more about the birds that I couldnt remember before Bird joy
I love this app The only thing that could make it better other than more birds is a button that would play the call of each bird That would earn this app 10 stars in my opinion Thanks Very well done
Fun to play but the redwing blackbird is misidentified Fun but not always correct
