Nice app great lessons but constantly crashes requiring deleting the app reinstalling and then reloading the purchased lesson packs This needs to be fixed it is very frustrating and time consuming to the point of discouraging the use of the app Looks like from other reviews that this crashing bug has been known for a while Please make an effort to fix this bug especially since people are paying for the lesson packs that are unusable due to crashing             Good but crashes a lot Woods_55

it s not free in app purchases for 4 and 5 each Which could be okay for some of the content So I bought one of the Victor Wooten packs which is great content BUT I STILL HAVE TO WATCH THE BANNER ADS AT THE BOTTOM WHILE WATCHING VIDEO THAT I PURCHASED There s no way to zoom in on the music charts either so on an iPad mini it s rather small with the list of videos taking up space on the left and the banner ads taking space on the bottom This developer is really clueless on how to create a usable app experience Really sad this could be a good app but it s got so many issues that need to be resolved LAME Don t waste your time or bandwidth on this one unless you really need a specific lesson from Vic     Limited free content NEOBart

Great app crashes a lot that needs to be fix If you try to open a lesson it just close out for no reason But other then that when you do get into a lesson it s great and very good information Just fix the crashing guys                     Great app Usafhh60

I love this app I picked up a bass on a whim being a guitar player but i didn t want to pay for lessons so it collected dust in the corner til I found bass guru Now I m addicted The lessons are well thought out easy to use and best of all cheap I especially like the Robin keats packs very methodical stuff and great workouts for your hands They may make a bass player out of me yet I m off to practice                     Addicted to bass guru Bassnewbie

The title says it all This is a really great concept and it is mostly well executed The teachers are outstanding I picked up my bass about 6 months ago after a years long hiatus and this app has been really really useful in my practice They teach you tons of techniques across a huge range of styles There are also some theory packs I would definitely definitely recommend this app to any beginning to intermediate player The app could be useful for an advanced player as well if for example you want to learn exactly how Victor Wooten does his different slap techniques The practice mode is also very useful Each lesson comes with a practice mode that includes sheet music and a bass you can play along with They also include a metronome and you can speed up or slow down the tempo significantly You can of course play without the metronome and with or without the sound of the bass My only criticism is that it is a bit buggy Sometimes the app closes out unexpectedly and things like that It doesn t get to the point of being frustrating though so I can definitely deal with the bugs All in all I d have to say that regardless of whether you take lessons or not this is without a doubt a must have if you want to learn bass Again though I think it would be useful for just about any bass player You d have to already be a master of many different styles not to learn something from someone on here                 Very very useful app but buggy BEAR SABAN

I m really impressed with this app The descriptions of each lesson are on the money and it s like I m getting lessons with Victor Wooten himself The other lessons I ve downloaded with Mike V Felix Pastorius Ed Friedland etc have been top notch too well worth the 4 bucks Looking forward to new lessons every week                     Great lessons from great artists Lowlass
