The updates make this app so much more useful Im really happy with it and my struggling students are finally able to see what it means to borrow              Thank you

This app has really helped my kids with their homework They are able to add and subtract and actually understand what they are doing                 Helpful

Awesome visual tool So many ways to use it in my classroom Addition and subtraction for the older students and visualizing how to make 100 and teaching the tricky teens to younger students Highly recommend                 Great Tool

Great idea but it is very cumbersome to use You have to be VERY careful when tapping because you cant go back unless you clear the whole thing Particularly frustrating is regrouping while subtracting There is not enough room in the tens block to hold more than 10 ten bars so they overflow into other blocks Then if you try to grab a ten bar that overflowed into the ones block it frequently brakes apart into ones and you can not regroup it again to be a ten It would also be helpful to be able to track how much you have put into the trash can After using it for several minutes it got stuck with 9 units in the ones block and couldnt clear it Please update soon My son could really use this app        Mom

It only took 10 minutes to decide this was a waste of money Perhaps instructions would help Maybe it doesnt work on ios8 You cant trade 10 units in for one 10     Waste of 1

So much easier than using the paper ten blocks I agree with all the other reviews Need more space when regrouping Also wish there was an option to turn off the number where it totals the blocks for when the student becomes more advanced or when taking a test A little tweaking this app could go from great to outstanding              Life saver

This updated version is much better than version 1 The snags have been worked out and Im going to try it again in my classroom After playing it I know my 4th graders who need more support in RTI groups will benefit from using this fun and educational app                 Base ten

I read the reviews and the app looked like it would work great for my classroom but it didnt It had some bugs and didnt always regroup correctly My students had difficulty keeping the blocks on the correct box the hundreds couldnt hold 9 hundreds very well and if you borrowed while subtracting the regrouped tens should kick out the ones that were already there making it confusing It was also very easy for them to accidentally regroup while subtractingthey would accidentally take the ten in the ones place while trying to trash it an ruin the whole problem because there is no fast way to get ride of them once that happens I really wanted this app to work but it didnt I also do not like how it automatically regroups when it is set on addition my students would get confused and stop counting and then it was hard to help them and tool that was supposed to help becausee a hindrance It is just awkward to use        Disappointed

Its only a virtual set of Base Ten blocks Would e better if you could create two numbers using the blocks then add them together or start with a number and drag blocks away to another box that would show the number being subtracted Bug gave me negative number answer that would not clear Disappointing app I expected more and better     Disappointing Too basic

Finally an app that is simple useful and effective This does exactly what it needs to do to help my kids learn to see the process of addition and subtraction I also love it as a teacher in my classroom to both teach the concept and also to have my students use the app as a visual when they are working on their independent work to solve their addition and subtraction problems Thank you I love it                 Love it

The app is useful but It would be nice if the blocks fit better when adding them to the box and if it went to thousands I use this for a 3rd grade class and we dont stop at hundreds           Useful app

I am so excited to start using this app with my first grade son He has just started to be introduced to ones tens and hundreds in school and this app is a perfect visual to help him understand place value I love how it regroups to demonstrate grouping and also how it ungroups to demonstrate subtracting This is such a useful valuable app                 Extremely Useful

I was looking for something simple and effective in a pinch bunt this app is very broken and a waste of a dollar I do not know how this app made it into the app store     Super terrible

My students and students in younger grades have found this app very helpful in understanding the concepts of regrouping during addition and borrowing during subtraction This app visually shows students that one unit of ten is equivalent to ten units of one and one unit of hundreds is equivalent to ten units of ten a difficult concept for students to grasp through a lecture based classroom I highly recommend this app to teachers and parents                 Great Visual App
