Bahamas Marine Charts

Works well at home where the Internet can download map segments on demand but away from home and away from mobile data think offshore its only useful when you are in an area thats been preloaded You can only preload 10000 tiles at a time which at the highest resolution is a square about 3 miles on a side Also I use the Wavey Line charts in the Turks Caicos and frankly the paper charts are better At certain resolutions the raster echarts dont line up with each other and the for instance GPS coordinates on the paper charts of dive sites are more useful than an unmarked dive flag on the echart Of well 35 down the drain maybe the promised more tiles update will come through with a million tiles and maybe theyll fix some of the other issues but for now Im back to my Garmin GPS MotionX GPS and paper charts        Works but not useful MotionX GPS better iPhone app

For the price this is a great chart program Beings the Bahamas at you finger tips zoom in to see reefs navaids and depths great compilation Thanks for putting this together                 great chart plotter on my phone

Well worth the money                 Great value

The charts were excellent but they disappeared from my IPad After about 10 seconds This was very disconcerting as we Were in a small boat and this was our only source of navigation The iPad internal GPS worked well showing our position on The chartsbut only in ten second periods Hope they Can correct this flaw           Cutout flaw

Works well wo wifi although wifi brings many additional benefits Good value for money                 Excellent App

I downloaded the map ahead of time and marked points of interest This app was easier to use than the installed Garmin on the boat so we used both Now I am referring back to this map to give place names to our photos Excellent app                 Well worth the money

I just bought the app and set out downloading my tiles for a Bahamas trip this week The downloads go ok The detail level is adequatesure Id like more but I could get by with this BUT Im not thrilled with the app It crashes repeatedly as I go to high zoom levels and I have to restart the app This isnt acceptable to me If I could take my money back right now I wouldIm that disappointed I used the Navionics charts for this area a few years ago but sadly those arent as detailed anymore Now I wish I had them        Praying it gets better on the water
