After used perfectly some month and then i try to update automatic to new version and now it too slow to show last trip and miss some trips     Lost trip when updated

I will be the first admit that my first experience was a rocky one with unexpected setup problems but the support team really did an awesome job I give them 4 stars for a decent app I add an addition star for their great support However they lose a star for the bumpy setup which hopefully is partially fixed by this release I have read they seem to have some connectivity issues but I havent had it long enough know if it really is an issue Keep up the good work guys              Good app and top notch customer support

A friend gave me an Automatic Ive been having fun looking at the data it produces maps routes times fuel consumed etc One bummer is it must be set to always re location services access It should not need constant access not even to remember parking location Please make an option to have it access location only while phone and automatic are connected or if you open automatic to find car location              Track yourself

Crashes on iOS 7 on iphone 4S Crashes after splash screen     New version crashes immediately

While it still seems to collect data correctly the latest version of the app is very sluggish especially at startup It scrolls very slowly and jerkily and keeps jumping back to the top It looks like it is downloading something in the background once that finishes things pick up but by then Im already frustrated        Latest version of app has performance issues

Ive had it for six weeks and its helped me with check engine lights AND improved my driving by 30 points as measured by the app              Love the way it works

Very useful I wish the font was bigger I use a Iphone 6 plus but my eyesight is not so good as it was              Pretty good diagnostics give so more than others

this app needs some serious TLC so many bugs performance of the app is sluggish too many UI quirks bluetooh finally got a little better still doesnt support iPhone 6 screen size there seems to be a greater focus on new features rather than perfecting the existing bugginess kind of sad bc I love the service and the backend seems pretty solid give us the app we want and deserve     great service buggy app

I have always loved that I could tag my business trips through the notifications without even opening the app Now when I tap tag in a notification after a trip it will tag it as business but then prompt for passcode and launch the app Its incredibly annoying I want to tag and move on without opening the app If I want to open the app I will myself        Update messed up notification tagging

I am a sales rep for a food service company and put at least 125 miles per day on my vehicle This app has been able to pay for itself in the first month Not only can you tune your driving to make the best gas mileage but at the end of the week you can see all your routes you have driven and rearrange the following week to better improve your trips and cut down on mileage per week Everyone that drives a lot should own this app                 Fantastic app

I bought the device tonight Im excited to try it out but Im already sad its not native to 6 or 6 plus I expected more from such a well designed product           Happy and sad

Since the last update Ive been constantly dinged for hard stops and fast acceleration Im not driving differently The map still shows me occasionally driving cross country and on roads that I did not use           Something happened

Forces to buy expensive adapter Does not work with any cheap obd adapter like torque app does     Does not work with regular Bluetooth obd adapters

I dont know how it calculates how much money is spent on gas each trip but I dont think its that accurate There should be a way to enter in the amount of money you paid per gallon or in total for gas so it gives a very accurate calculation on the amount of money spent on the trip        So about the cost for gas each trip

Nobody drives in a manner that doesnt trigger this thing Acceleration detection is horrible I cant idle up to 10 mph then barely touch the pedal in order to start moving but if I dont it beeps at me Then my insurance company dings my discount Hard braking is also entirely too sensitive Stopping from the speed limit to a red light at the length of the stop lines in the road is not hard braking 26 years of driving and no accidents and 2 weeks with this thing is making me a worse driver Skip it        Far too sensitive

It works really well Its made me a better driver and its actually fun to see if I can improve my score                 Automatic is a great device

Does what it says And proves to be super useful With the recent 2nd generation API support amazing opportunities lie ahead Would love to see more 3rd party integration especially apps like Road Trip                 Superb

The updates have improved the apps response time Love all new fun apps I can use                 Works even better

The app only detects yet connection to the device 50 of the time at best The app itself is so unbelievably glitchy and freezes all the time It would be a great app if it actually worked properly but unfortunately it does not     So glitchy

Automatic traced the wrong route for me tonight I drive one way to work and a different way home from work Tonight while driving home on the map it traced my route to work instead of the route I actually took        Traces the Wrong Route

I love taking control of my driving this way I can track my trips calculate fuel efficiency and monitor engine status The app just helped me decide and clear a check engine light Another unsung benefit is IFTTT integration I have all my trips automatically sorted and filed in google drive                 Fantastic device

These guys cant get it right Its one step forward and two steps back with the updates Updates are supposed to fix bugs and not add more bugs     Not worth the 99 investment

I like the driving feedback but being able to monitor and clear engine codes is awesome                 Clears engine codes in a snap too

I really love this application and I was really disappointed that they dropped support iOS 6 I personally do not use iOS 6 anymore however I know a lot of people that still do and I can understand their position and why they believe that iOS 6 is a better platform for them They also seem to be dumbing down the app a little and I can see by the other reviews that they are paying less attention to quality and have gotten lazy It hurts me to do this but I have no choice but to give this a 1 star review I will be looking into their competition which may be a little more pricey but atleast seem to be catering to users on a more objective level for the moment anyways Updated to three stars from one star Lets see where things go Update New version of the app and device seem to have some accuracy issues with tracking and location     I loved this and people behind it so it hurts to do this

Its no coincidence they added a built in GPS to the new version of the adapter They cannot sort out the myriad connection problems and lost trips you will experience with this device You now get an audible beep when the connection fails this is the only reliable part of the device     Connection problems galore

NO STARS This build crashes during startup on both iOS 7 8 Your automatic is now useless Previous build crashed a lot but would at least launch 80 of the time I had to restart to get it to work for the next car trip Why did you leave this build up     DONT UPDATE Crashes during startup

I enjoy the app but Bluetooth connectivity is hit or miss           Good app with a few bugs

I love the engine diagnostics Simple things I fix myself Saving time and money I was concerned initially with privacy but I am able to use the app without transmitting all my info Give it a try Really cool              Information Its a good thing

This product does not work as advertised Complete junk It does not track my car accurately It does indicate my fuel accurately And worse of all it does not indicate my check engine light I have to delete my car from app and reinstall to detect the check engine light This app is junk     Dont waste your money

It was great before the last 2 or 3 Apple updates It connects and disconnects randomly It is no longer reliable for me And I have 2 1 in my Rv and 1 in my work truck Its too bad because I used it everyday to help me save fuel Now I just ignore it If I could get my back I would DO NOT PURCHASE UNTIL THEY FIX IT If they ever do     Still horrible Keeps getting Worse

I was aware of automatic for a while and finally made decided to purchase it after getting a check engine light Apart from some troubles during set up said code was wrong problem connecting firmware upgrade failed the first time I was ultimately able to diagnose and reset the check engine light loose fuel cap All the other features are are a bonus as far as I am concerned but some will be really useful such as car locater and driving data I hope they continue to actively support the app as many recent reviews are reporting bugs apparently                 Diagnose and Reset Your Check Engine Light

The advertisements say it does all this stuff but after spending 100 it kinda blows to have to BUY all off the extra apps to make it do what it advertises     Extra extra for what is advertised

I love this app but ever since the last update it wont open It tries to open but then just goes back to my home screen Please fix this           App is great BUT

The device and app work very well for me No issues or problems I am getting 23 mpg better in city driving and perhaps 4 better on the highway                 Works Reliably and Provides Very Useful Information

Nice app Nice device Provides some VERY basic info in a nicely laid out fashion But connected to the OBD it should tell users much much more Why limit the info to the simpler side of things Being the only BT device available for iPhones it should tell me more info There are plenty of other apps that do Please make this better EDIT added another star for the much improved performance of the App along with Link2 Glad I stuck with it Now to only get more dashboard features like speed RPMs battery voltage etc              For 99should do much much more

Helped me identify err code and DIY fix AND reset err code Yeah              Automatic Yes

App will not let me create account therefore I cannot do anything Ive closed it uninstalled and reinstalled and still cannot create an account I enter info press the button to create account and nothing App is useless right now     Cant create account

I use the app with the 2nd generation adapter and an iPhone 4s which is not officially supported The setup was impressively simple The interface is very intuitive and pleasant to use I have found it superior to a competing app that uses the gopoint obd device                 Excellent

I have given up on your products and services Its unreliability regular disconnect and reconnect issues and software instability has brought me to this conclusion As an early adopter when I bought my new car I was pleasantly surprised by the free version 2 but after much trial and software updates I quit and would give it a 0 star rating if I could Does not play nicely with other Bluetooth devices that are common in people like myself a life     Just keeps getting worse

Took a couple of months to update my vehicle in their firmware Works like a charm E320 diesel              Great app
