Got this app on my IPhone and within minutes of downloading it my IPhone crashed I had a business to run from my IPhone 6 Plus since I was on the jobsite not in the office Created a huge mess It wasn t enough to delete the app I had to get a new iPhone     Something Not Right with App Robbin12
I used this app last summer and it worked fine This year I tried to log in and it would not let me Then I tried to register a new email and it would not let me do that either Very disappointed         Not working April 2017 CP-S
I ve used this app for the past 2 yrs but now it won t let me log in They need to update this app and fix it One thing I didn t really like about the app in the past was that it didn t ask anything except whether or not you saw a hummer and what it they were feeding on not how many or anything else so it got pretty boring and I stopped using it     No longer working HelpSaveWolves
I have two other Audubon bird apps I can log in to both Not this one Also password retrieval at password line reports back that email address can t be found Same email address I use for the other two apps Disappointing Fix this Many many people have reported the same issue     Can t log in Sawadee2
Not a bad app Too bad you can t add certain flowers to the program I have many flowers that the hummers are using but they are not in the app and I can find no way to add the flowers to their database                 No problem logging in Wardenth11suck
After being prompted to create an account I was unable to LOG IN multiple times Finally gave up and deleted this app Very disappointed because this is the first year I started putting feeders out for hummingbirds and was excited to join a community that admires and has a love for these beautiful and amazing birds A bummer app for my hummers     Disappointed ❤️4Hummers
I can t log in either No matter what I do I get a screen saying that my login failed I even tried to create a new account and still got the very same message What s going on     I can t log in either Lezuli
After successfully downloading the app and creating a login and account I can t login Keep getting a message saying I m not connecting to the Audubon hummingbird server Very frustrating     Login Problem machembree

App works well stopwatch for patch survey is great Everything is user friendly but there are fairly common plants missing from the nectar source list that I have in my garden Any chance for an update on the plant list or a keyword search                 App works great but needs more plants Oxalis24
Won t accept sign on information for username and password Could be an interesting app if it ever works Will keep trying for awhile on both iPad and iPhone before finally deleting     Does not work Chetzak007
I get an error saying it can t hit the server with my information no matter what I put in Hasn t worked in over a year     Can t create account numericalist
Three feeder areas on my property in a heavy migration area App needs much work Even one star not deserved     Agree on Useless Ceekay*+
Can t get to the login screen without an internet connection Can t get PAST the login screen without creating an account Keeps blanking the entry field so I have to keep re entering my email address No mention of how my email address or password will be protected or used even if it allowed me to create an account     completely useless michaelgalassi
Good app But some info on why or how the data will be used would be appreciated                     Great app interface Backwood209
However there needs to be an insect selection as well as nectar sources My birds are darting thru the air eating insects right now not nectar                     Very well done katski818
I have tried multiple times to login and keep getting the message Logincheck html Error connecting to the Audubon Server Please check your connection and try again Help     hummingbird Vbergaus
I eagerly downloaded this app to help observe hummingbirds I have fed them for years and we plant bushes for them to feed from When I made my first observation I could not find the plant Why can t we enter in the plant ourselves It ridiculous to think you could have all the possibilities available The plant I wanted to find was waverly sage The hummingbirds love it most of all This study cannot be valid without all info and you are preventing that from happening Shame on you         Can t find plant Lftoflenin
Very fun but needs either a larger plant data base or the ability to input plant data Also does not account for multiple birds in a single sighting             A NectarLn
I have many hummers coming and migrating through my patch But the app only allows to ID the bird not the number I would think this info would be important since researchers are worried about early and late migrations Some days I have to refill my feeders 3x others only once Also the plant list really is not accurate to where I live I have an extensive flower garden and the hummers visit those flowers as well as only 3 of the plants on the app list The app should have a place for typing in a plant and the number of birds Also I live in the valley in NM so I do not have dessert plants My GPS heading should relate that I agree with the other reviewer my enthusiasm in waning         Good but could be better Nanantata
I was excited to see this new bird survey from Audubon as an app I have participated in their backyard bird counts surveys before We are already enjoying watching hummers every day at our place so I thought this would be an easy way to contribute Although easy to use I am quickly losing interest in submitting multiple surveys which I thought was part of the point Setting up the front porch as my patch was easy You submit observation data for up to 60 minute increments Just be aware you are only counting species not individual birds during that time period although you can submit single sightings So I m basically done within the first minute I log on because we only have one species here My porch is surrounded by many common annual plants at least one of which the birds will occasionally feed on You can only search for nectar sources by color and many common plants that would be found in local gardens and window boxes do not seem to be listed Although it asks whether you see your yellow plant on the list I can t find a way to say no and search by actual plant name You are able to save a plant list as favorites which is good searching through multiple colors lists each time is very tedious Maybe future versions will ask for more details but I was very disappointed not to be able to record my very personable female feeding from one of my hanging plants I guess I ll record the plant as unidentified in the future even though I know its name perfectly well Admittedly the birds primarily come to our feeders and that s easy to record but I really wanted to be able to record when they are at a plant also as I thought that was part of the project purpose as well I was planning on submitting data routinely but I ve lost my enthusiasm Expanding the project itself would make it more interesting to me but that has nothing to do with the app itself I think Audubon wants to encourage reports from all different sources I would like to see a better way to search a more complete plant list It s too frustrating now and many of the plants listed don t have pics That won t help the casual observer             Lost interest quickly Laurawrph
I love the idea of this app but more functionality such as being able to specify date and time and a search function would make it much more appealing         Needs more functionality Hummer Watcher
I like the idea of the app I haven t gotten farther than trying to report plants It would be convenient if there were an option to enter plant names for those if us who have a clue             Meh Aurorathorn
Previous reviewer is confused as to purpose I however am anxious to contribute hummingbird data but the app requires an account and crashes when I try to create one     Won t let me create an account LAMPinAlaska
I m loving this app and am really enjoying getting to put it to use however the nectar options aren t as robust as I d like For example hummingbirds in my yard prefer to drink from Pintas and Turk s Cap but those aren t options under the nectar sources But other than that I m really enjoying this and hope the data I m collecting is helpful                     Great Idea But Could Use More Nectar Options Meowsza
It doesn t list enough varieties of hummingbirds or plants I have to keep picking unidentified even though I know what kind of hummingbird I m seeing             Needs more options HubbleMama
This is a really innovative approach to learning understanding and even helping with a species as beautiful as hummingbirds I m constantly on the look for hummingbirds now just to add to the data and do my part but also to appreciate nature                     Innovative approach Azinicus
Wondering if I ll be able to add more plants             Hope more gets added Irish Arboretum
Simple and meaningful                     Love it Hummingbirdfan

In terms of design and reference material this is a very good wildlife app It fits well within Audubons collection of a applications that aim to inform yet rely on participation of the user I think one flaw with this app is it relied too much on user participation in identifying hummingbirds in your area I would like the app to serve more as a guide to the hummingbird species rather than having to go through the steps of logging in and giving your own personal information to record data about the birds Still this is very good app that can only help to educate the public about some the creatures that live in the world with us              Audubon Hummingbirds
