For the first time on iPhone An effective hearing test that measures your threshold of hearing for sounds of different frequencies. Find out just how far your ears can hear ranging frequencies. Most of the people should be ...
Great application Easy slick interface I reviewed together with a technician servicing and calibrating my inoffice audiometer
What is missing to make it five stars and really useful are dB decibel levels for all the frequencies A larger result layout would also help Now make this email enabled and you got it from a pediatrician
One of the great testing software I ever worked withand very simple Great hearing test
This is well worth it for a quick screening check of your hearing I used it and am now not worried that I have any hearing deficiencies but now I have no excuses if I dont hear my wife Great screening tool
Paid a dollar but can not make it work Some how the free App worked Does not work
For the audible pop when the tone starts stops the devs should add a one to two millisecond fade from 0db Suggestion
This app made me feel financially molested At 3 it has so much less functionality and intelligence than uHear Dont waste your money this app wont give you any valuable information about your hearing The problem is that like any hearing test this app plays a sequence of tones asking you if you heard it or not However this app only plays the tone once at a high volume so its resolution is very poor In contrast uHear and any selfrespecting hearing test actually modulate the volume of each tone to determine where you loose sensitivity and therefore can provide a much better characterization of your ears transfer function Run Not worth it
App crashes every time returns to app menu screen iPod Touch App crashes on play
Due to my 20 redgreen color vision deficiency I cannot see any difference in the utilized redgreen font color of the test frequencies Redgreen color dificiency incorrectly referred to as color blindness is quite common in the general population Generally accepted contemporary design practice utilizes a concurrent change in size location or label over and above a color code to enhance recognition of a status indicator For this app you could show the red results in bold or with a bullet for example Other than the above the app worked fine and is handy to check freq response of different headphones once you establish your own hearing curve on a known reference broad band set The app provides finer frequency steps than a competing app as well I look forward to future updates Cannot see the results
This is fine as far as it goes but if the volume slider had a db meter to test at different db levels it would be perfect Normal hearing is from 0 to 20 db on the audiogram This would be neat And finally if it would show a graph of your hearing it would be fantastic put a DB meter on it
after this update it is very easy and clear to use exactly what i need thanks Thanks for the Update
Ability to save results would be good Aging affects memory as well as hearing Easy thoughful interface
Very nice application that tests your hearing
does what supposed to do
its just the same hearing test that i used to go over every 3 moth when i was at the army Nice and simple
its the worst app i want my money back please dont buy it worst app
This app is fairly useless as a hearing test Entertaining but useless I have patients that wear hearing aids that could pass this as a hearing test I tested it against my calibrated audiometer and most of the sounds are signficantly louder than the levels used for a hearing screeening Hows your hearing Ask an audiologist Audiologist
Looks like version 11 is latest and saving will be available starting with version 2 So go out and buy this app so we get the free upgrade quickly Cant save update
very basic test not particularly well designed or able to detect subtle variations in hearing ability The random mode didnt seem to work I suppose at 3 it wasnt a complete waste but I can guarantee that someones going to come along soon with something much better at the same pricepoint or less so maybe wait around for that not really worth it
It is not well designed test You easily can cheat or be mistaken with different sounds Also confirmations before each test are annoying Poorly developed
App crashes and returns to Main Menu Not Working on My IPhone
I can hear it but my mom cant lol fun to mess with ppl
Works great tested it on all my family
Nice and simple
For the last reviewer

Not working on 313 Not working on 313
Does excatlly what suppose to
aAter the last update its excellent Very usefull app
If you ever wondered if you have for example a high frequency hearing loss this app wont be of any value This program would be over priced if it were free That said someone put a very small effort into it but anything other than free would be grossly overvaluing it In fact its use might lead you to believe that you dont have a hearing problem when it fact you do All the app does is play a series of tones at presumably the same level To me its value is knowing that I saved others from wasting 99 You charge for this
