Purchased several globes and they worked fine on my iPad mini but when I updated to an iPad Air 2 this app no longer works with my purchased apps Please fix Doesnt work on air 2
This app says Taiwan is a country its not true although it says the full name of is Republic of China Republic of China is a country not Taiwan Republic of China now controls Taiwan province and a small part of Fujian Province Taiwan and a small part of Fujian are under the administration of Republic of China So if you say Republic of China is a country it is correct but by no means is Taiwan a country Piece of crap
Do not buy this app If you want to see other maps such as those showing population density and energy consumption you have to pay extra Google Earth is even better and there is no charge A Total Scam
I find myself disappointed with the latest update Especially with the political globe I was hoping for more details such as a demarcation of the states in the United States I would think that providing details like that would be the bare minimum I was also hoping that historical globeoverlays would be offered such as the world in the Middle Ages or the world in biblical times Needs more work
The shape of atlas seems good but i buy three subatlases and they are not installed in my iPhone 6 plus can help me Prof Bashir

As some of the other reviews said the app does take a while to download initially But given the enormous amount of information inside the globes its not surprising So far Ive found Atlas is very helpful and a great resource for searching about our world The graphics are awesome and its easy to use Youre also getting a huge amount of info for 7 its worth the price Worth the price and wait

I really want to like this atlas It has the potential to be beautifully designed but the constant interruption of downloading purchasing pay walls obscure what could be a delightful product With work making the app less complex it could be pretty great Looking forward to rating this higher in the future Has potential but disappointed

This app charges you 199 to basically be Apple Maps If you want to see ANY of the interesting maps political physical economic etc they are all inapp purchases and many cost as much as the app which itself does nothing worth mentioning Also its not made very clear at least in the App Store that all of these cool features mentioned cost extra There is absolutely no reason to pay for this app Complete waste of money unless youre willing to hand over several dollars more to make it do something more a dozen other free apps already do Paying for what

I bought this app the FIRST day it came out which had SEVEN globes included for 10 They updated the app and changed it to a free app with globes for sale inside it The problem is that the updated app DELETED the seven globes I PAID FOR Then they want me to pay more for the VERY GLOBES I ALREADY OWN After TWO FREAKING YEARS of trying to email them on this problem no reply I tried all their emails no reply phone calls to Harper Collins headquarters and promises I would hear from someone NO ONE ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS GIVE ME CODES FOR THE GLOBES I PAID FOR Creeps At the VERY LEAST give me a Redeem code for some other product to compensate me AVOID these people AVOID Harper Collins They have ZERO integrity WORST 10 I have EVER spent

I cannot stress enough how simply awful and frustrating this app is I purchased the app and four globes some time ago At cannot download the globes It tells me I am going to be charged 99 then it tells me I already own the globe Next it tells me that the globe is installing and nothing Thats it No download No anything AVOID this app Cannot download globes

Looking at general data quickly thats what it does By filtering down the details identifying areas for more research occurs quickly Its the essence of what tablet APPs have to offer over PCs the library Ultimately research takes reliable dynamic and historic data for analysis But for back of the envelope this works great Great for what it does
This map features just a satellite map others must be purchased I can have a satellite map with my Apple maps Dont buy this app if you want to save your money No
As far as functional mapping goes Atlas wouldnt be my first choice for planning a trip But its great to look at and has tons of info which definitely accounts for the longer download time I just downloaded it while I did other work allinall its a cool app to use as a quick reference tool and great to browse during my commute or use for deeper research on a country or topic Overall not bad
If it was usable it would be a nice resource but its counting on the latest processor to work I can move the globe once Where it stops it pretty much freezes until the phone can catch up Im on WIFI by the way If you have an iPhone 4s or 5 you may have better performance but on a 4 its apparently too demanding to function terribly slow on iPhone 4
Just get google earth this is slow and you have to buy 910 maps please dont waste your time Terrible
Decent app idea but the addon globes are really the only useful thing and they of course cost more Also the app is dreadfully slow even when connected to a LAN via wifi Nice but slow
The basic satellite and political maps are disappointing and overly simple you can find better via Google Earth Wikipedia etc Definitely to NOT get the political unless its for your kids The specialized maps are however quite interesting and capture a lot of info Should be more interactive though I should be able to tap a country or region and have the info pop up not have one set of info visualized on the map but other info trapped in scrolling text Needs some continuous development Mixed feelings

Completely nonfunctional as an atlas unless you add 2025 of atlas data through inapp purchases without them all you get is a lowres satellite image of the earth and zero atlas info A NonFunctioning InAppPurchase Trap
The app looks great but crashes when switching between globes The information provided is not very useful and hard to access Much less than advertised
