This app is great for research Ive had asthma for quite a long time and Im glad to be apart of this study The only problem I have right now when I do my survey The next day it is showing that it wasnt done Yet I complete it Thats the only issue Im having Other than that Good app              Good app Needs work
Please fix It now prompts me to do my daily activity at my set time in CST and then again 2 hours later And I realize this is research but my asthma is very minimal Could the first question be changed to something like anything to report And if not Im done I havent used a flow meter in over 30 years I always skip that question Thanks           Update again
This app is so clear in how it was designed from the consent to the fluid system for answering questions that I think Apple should have jumped into this field a long time ago As a physician who has helped participate in studies before I know how difficult it is to find a good group of willing participants We all have an iPhone This is a great way for us to use it to help each other                 Such An Obvious Solution
This app is really cleanly designed simple and fast to use each day It actually helps me to do a little better adhering to medications two things they need to look into the graph of how well my asthma is managed is broken It gets better when I report symptoms often showing my asthma is 100 well managed if my peak flow drops and then on perfect days I get more red and it says my asthma is less well managed This is a big deal People might make decisions about whether or not to seek care based on this graph the other things is when it asks if something gave me problems today and nothing gave me problems my only choices are I dont know or none of these things trigger my asthma Lots of those things DO trigger my asthma They just didnt today because I wasnt exposed to them or my meds were working otherwise a great app              Great couple suggestions
Notifications have stopped working since the recent update Without those I rarely remember to complete the daily survey              Notifications
Does not record any of my physical activity        Needs work
UPDATES bug seems fixed New suggestion Wish there was a way to see the days I had to use my quick acting inhaler in calendar form alongside a list of reasons that precipitated its use Currently have to do this manually on my own This data may be useful in such a study and helpful to the participants Previous review Pros Thanks to this app Ive become more conscious of my health when it comes to controlling my asthma symptoms It gave me the push to start recording when I took my quick acting inhaler or to make sure i took my daily meds Most of the questions are straight forward and not invasive The dashboard air partialpollution indicators are useful Passcode entry for the app makes information a little more private and secure and compatible with Touch ID Cons The app doesnt have a way to provide feedback other than the App Store review process No idea what peak flow was until I looked it up BUGS Under accounts the height keeps rounding down to the bearings foot Because the information is then shared with the health app it changes the information there too Its a frustrating           Feedback and bugs
Can you let me be more precise with the daily activity reminder 500 occurs during my commute 600 is into the next phase of the evening 515 would be perfect                 A Just have a suggestion
This app is helpful for making me be more mindful of my asthma Since installing the new update it crashes at launch Please fix this stat                 Great app until update
I live and breathe the super polluted air of Bangladesh Therefore I am a frequent user of Ventolin Inhaler This app made me realize how seriously I should be when dealing with Asthma Thanks to all researchers and developers for such generous contributions to mankind all over the world Thank you apple for being the gateway                 Perfect app for an Asthma patient like me
Right from the start this app is inaccessible No captioning provided on any videos rendering the app useless which Im not even able to follow the videos One star until it becomes accessible In the meantime this was reported to the DOJ     Not accessible to deaf participants
A feedback button would be a VERY easy addition to this app The list of things that cause asthma symptoms should also include other prescription meds like beta blockers Any day that I use those for anxiety or to lower my Tachycardic heart rate my asthma symptoms are much more likely to cause me issues           There should be a feedback button
Forgot to complete survey questions due to not receiving reminder notifications     Reminders not working
Ever since the latest update this app crashes 100 of the time on launch meaning I cant do my daily surveys Also in the setup theres a screen that asks permission to contact you and you literally cant type in the email address text field It wont take any input           Great concept major bugs
thank goddess I feel is comfortable help asthma tips check up make sure it i must be okay                 Finally
I havent used it and frankly just wanted the first review on here but Im super excited to help solve Asthma Ill do my part to cure this                 Havent used but YES for finally trying to fix Asthma
This is amazing app to further research in asthma To the reviewer who wants to use the app without having asthma this is a specific study Its meant for asthma patient                 Amazing app
Very good but for some strange reason it doesnt record the peak flow data to the iPhones health app If they fix this I will give it five stars They should also collaborate with those people from My Spiroo so I could take the readings straight into the iPhone              Good but needs a few tweaks to be better
The app works fine the reminder works fine As a lifelong severe asthmatic who is currently very controlled it is very redundant My only issue is when asked what made your asthma worse today the only options are to click something click I dont know what triggers my asthma or click none of these things trigger my asthma How about adding nothing triggered my asthma today to go along with no I didnt have any problems and no I didnt need my inhaler I know exactly what triggers my asthma everything and everything on that list can trigger it              Works fine
This app is helping me as well as providing info to the study group I bought a peak flow meter and am tracking my own symptoms better I wish that I could customize the reminder to complete the daily surveys Right now they reminder pops up while I am at work which is not a good time for me to take a survey If I could set it for the evening before I go to bed Id have time to take the survey and record my peak flow As it is now the reminder pops up while I am at work and then its gone and forgotten by the time I get home I miss a lot of days because I cant set the reminder for a better time for me              Useful for me and study people
Like others the reminder rarely works Im up late so I often remember at 1230 or 100am and its too late to enter data Please allow a 24 hour look back period so we can complete survey after midnight I travel frequently and cross many time zones including the international date line That really screws up the ability to do the survey on time              Buggy App
When I saw this application mentioned in the Apple keynote I knew right away that it was a great idea However it could use a few tiny improvements On the daily questionnaire the last question asks about peak flow I actually had no idea what that even meant but it sounds like something I would have to get at a doctors office or need special equipment for so a better description for that section wouldve been helpful The daily reminder also doesnt make a red dot appear on the app and that is how I keep track of all my notifications Because of this I frequently forget to fill out the questionnaire and not doing this regularly will probably limit how useful it is to the researchers This is a feature that most apps have so it shouldnt be too difficult to implement Overall though Im glad to help out with the research study and look forward to seeing how this works out              Fantastic idea just needs a few small tweaks
I love that I am able to contribute to but I have a hard time remembering to fill out the survey and it o lay prompts me about once a week I have checked the settings many times but I just dont get the notifications anywhere in my phone Please fix              Reminders
I hope this progresses the state of asthma research The app has the ability to write Peak Expiratory Flow Rate to the Health database and I have this option enabled but no data is written Fix for 5 stars              Excellent Health database not updated
Says unable to create database thats it        Unable to create database
Air Quality near you section does not seem to be working           Could be better
LOVE THIS APP                 GREAT
