Amos is a reactive MIDI instrument. It sends MIDI notes over a wireless network to almost any desktop host app such as Garage Band, Logic, Pro Tools, Live, etc. Think MIDI wind-chimes crossed with a ...
This app is terrible     Boo Rbuford
MIDI implementation is flawless much better than the hit and miss of Yamaha s tnr i Usefulness is another thing Control is very random so if you are not into aleatoric music you may be disappointed                 Excellent MIDI Controller Timex
It appears that this app only operates as a midi controller That is potentially cool but I want to be able to play around with the app and create sounds that I can hear right off my iPad without having to use another app in conjunction This app is a midi controller only and is useless without utilizing external hardware or coupling its activity with another app If you re planning on just playing around with this on your iPad and not plugging up to anything external or utilizing another app in conjunction you ll be disappointed This app generates no sound alone     Needs sound on iPad being used EVA UNIT - CURTIS
I perform in as a solo ambient guitarist and this app was recommend to me It does a great job of generating pseudo random midi note information The only drawback is that it s difficult to set the properties for each individual disk the app refers to a long tap as the method but I m not sure what means                 Superior midi generator app Howardost
Really cool idea and well executed What would put it through the roof would be the ability to tweak the physics settings                 Great shamburglar
The new 1 2 1 release fixes an unfortunate crash problem that appeared in the previous release and now it s solid and has more features up to 5 discs and you can assign a separate MIDI channel to each One of the highest fun per dollar ratios of all iPad music apps Looks sharp too                     Tons of fun even better now Craig8128
The concept seems good but the app crashes upon launch Until developer fixes this issue I don t see how it can get more than one star     Err fail Littldevil
Great combination of randomness and control Allows you to choose specific notes to activate so you can essentially trigger the scales modes of your choice Works perfectly with my Korg R3 Would like to see support for the Moog Little Phatty Stage II Would also like to see preset scales modes to choose from There is an arrow at the bottom that launches the MIDI activators Would be nice if you could adjust the force with which the activator spheres are launched Highly recommended                     Fantastic green another
Does exactly what it says in the simplest most elegant way possible All apps should be made this way Have been playing with it for hours New favorite app                     Perfect execution Onnaboat
