"AFP By Topic: Editors Choice of Best Current Content" makes the best content from American Family Physician (AFP) Online for 40 clinical topics available in one place. This "AFP By Topic" app enables you to ...
Quick review of various common topics I recommend this                 Simple and easy to use
This app used to work on my 4 then started crashing on open every time Thought it was my old iOS but now have the 5 and still wont open Please create update with fix Previously this app was a nice quick access to many subjects        Crashes every time
Great app I loved the AFP By Topic collection alreadyI frequently turn to it to find excellent recent articles summarizing the current clinical evidence And now having it in an easy to use app on my iPhone is the best Only things that would make it better would be easy search function being able to send PDF              Great
Easy and quick access                 Excellent
I love this when it works but it unfortunately crashes more than it launches At other times articles wont pull up even if it does launch     Very buggy on 4s
Wonderful quick reviews of common medical topics Relevant and to the point Thanks AFP                 Excellent
A green try Definitely need a search bar Not fun in a busy practice to try and guess where something is stored Epocrates has done a good job with their Essentials package and that is why I use it first and then Dr Google second and then I might read about it in AAFP if I get time Oh I dont have the time So I just read the monthly mag on the weekends If AFP wants to tap into this market they need to rethink their current approach     Not Ripe
Will not work on iPhone 5 Per site app last updated April 2011 Get real that is an eternity Will be deleting had my hopes up     Unusable
All things considered I expected better functionality for the AAFPs first attempt This webbased app freezes if you try to log in to unlock some of the topics theres no way to print the patient information handouts or even download the PDFs into the iBooks it has no smart search capabilities etc etc Heres some advice allow us to at least email the link if not the PDF documents directly to our patients with one click if we cannot print at the POC Again I realize that for paid apps you must not release all improvements at once so as to reel more people in but with free apps thats not the case Again you would think that for the amount of time it took them to develop it I expected better Look forward to seeing more from this app that all in all is promising OD MD           Falls short considering the wait
Cannot open app without crashing immediately Used to be very helpful     Crashing
January 2014 I love the AAFP content but the app is not a good way to access it it hasnt been updated for the newest iPhoneoperating system and it runs in a little mini window Add on the giant floating AAFP banner and you can only read with half your screen you have to keep logging in every time you want to access locked content rather than just registering the app with your user id for easy access to the content its essentially just a shortcut to the AAFP website but with much less functionality     No Added Functionality from the Website
Amazing app              Amazing
The app works very well on the iPad mini Many of the articles are free and I found them very helpful There are lots of recommendations for therapy and diagnostics which is surprising for a free app I would have given it five stars except that there are limitations to the recommendations for therapy too many articles that require purchase and it seems like many of the articles are quite old              Afp by title
Would be nice to have one for the iPad           iPad version
Keeps crashing on startup on 4s Please put out update Prior to this problem when it worked on my old phone it had a decent database of articles        Does not work w iPhone 4s
