A Present for Milo: A Touch-and-Surprise Storybook

Our little guy loves the iPad so its nice to have apps he can enjoy Plus no paper for him to rip or chew is a plus for mommy                 Love the Baby Giggles this App gets at our house

It is far too easy its encouraged on every page by a 1touch icon for the child to take the story back to the opening title page It disrupts the story and playtime You cant even move past that home page swiftly You have to listen to that drumroll and credit every time Then try to flipforward to where you were Only to have child accidentally press that home button again Fix it please              1 complaint home button too accessible

10 month old just loves the many little surprises when the pictures are touched Very cute Please write another book soon Very well done                 A Present for Milo

Such a cute gameconcept but its virtually unplayable by my 22 month old Anytime she touches the screen to interact with the book it moves the page forward or back and starts the reading part again She quickly loses interest It even does this when I try to carefully touch specific items I have an iPad mini so its not about compatibility with an older device PLEASE update the App so it stops on each page and add an arrow for kidsparents to push when theyre ready for the next page     Cute interactive book hampered by bad page turning

Animation is nice but the story isnt that great Audio is pretty amateur sounding as well        Not terribly impressed

When a child goes to tap a picture the screen slides to the left or right without actually displaying the intended outcome Horrible experience     Poor App For Kids

My son loves this app and always asks for ipad kitty in the morning Very interactive with lots of fun things to click on Only request is to please make turning the pages a more deliberate action I would say my son turns the pages twice as often as clicking on items since it is so sensitive Otherwise would be 5 stars              My 20 month olds favorite App

Another great Ruckus book This book combines beautiful illustrations and adorable interaction features As I teacher I am always looking for books that can be used as part of a theme I think this book would be so cute to use for students birthdays and create adapted stories from it like a present for Johnny                 Great interactive book

Oh my goodness this app is wonderful My 5 year old son absolutely adores it Its well read the sounds are funny                 One of the best story apps

The style is super cute my son loves all the noises I read it with him on a car trip and my niece who is 11 mind you took the iPad from us afterward and read it again herself I didnt have any trouble with response time or page turning Maybe this is a bit slower for iPad1s Works perfectly on an iPad 2 Write another Milo book Mr Austin                 Great story tons of interactions

Another outstanding app in their already impressive lineup Its difficult to beat their story apps for young children My almost 4 year old loves to listen to their storykeeping his attention the entire time Also the story teaches good values which is a definite plus has good rhythm and rhyme and is entirely interactivehelping Chance learn with fun                 Kudos for Ruckus

Its very slow This needs to be optimized or something kids dont have much patience Some noises are way too loud I was expecting something much better after reading all the positive comments     Slow

My son loves this story but the touch screen features are very frustrating Slow and you have to wait for one feature to finish or for the narrator to stop talking before you can do anything Wish it was more user friendly The story is cute        Cute but terrible touch screen

Beautifully done book BUT there are a few things that are incredibly annoying that definitely need to be addressed My 19 mo old daughter loves this book but often loses interest quickly because when on the first few pages when trying to tap the animation in the picture frame upper left hand corner the book tends to go back one page to the title page It is really annoying because when that happens you have to listen to the entire title and author monologue being read EVERY SINGLE TIME you land on the page The same applies to the little red home icon in the bottom L hand corner of every page You go back to the title page and the is no way to disable or turn off the function and I cant see that anyone writing the app thought to add a baby mode or any way to turn off the title page being read over and over again when your toddler likes to touch everything ESP that little red house To the app developers PLEASE fix these issues I am tired of hearing A Present for Milo by over and over and over again Its clear why she doesnt feel like using this app very often its so hard to get past the 1st 2 or 3 pages Besides that very nice interactive book              Great app BUT

Great app and Book that engages and draws kids in A ton of interaction hands on playing for my kids and a good story as well My kids were always finding some new interaction they didnt before very cool                 Very engaging

One of the best interactive books so far We love to read and doing it on the iPad should be more like this app Lots of fun interactive things for kids to touch and explore I really like how they can touch an object more than once and it will give them a different surprise each time If you want to read a flat book get a book If you want a fun way to interact with a story buy this app Well worth the money                 Great interactive book

As a former preschool teacher and director I have seen scores of childrens books A Present for Milo is exactly what small children love as it has so many fun interactive surprises I highly recommend it and look forward to more books by the author                 A Present for Milo

This is a GREAT childrens book really cute and clever and a TERRIFIC app full of fun interactive objects More tapable spots and animations than weve ever seen on a childrens book app The kids love it                 Great book super fun app

My two year old loves exploring this book I wish there were more tap interactive books out there I do agree with the review that it is way too easy to accidentally turn the page That makes going through the book frustrating at times Other than that this app is fun and keeps my two year olds attention              Love tap interactive

It is very difficult for a child to keep the pages going forward Slight gestures make the pages go backwards causing too much frustration and taking the fun out of this app     Page turning not good try some other app

I love the concept but its way too easy to flip the pages accidentally I would prefer dedicated forwardback buttons My kids couldnt explore the first page without accidentally returning to the cover This happened on a few other pages as well Still a unique and fun experience              Great with tweak
