Well maybe not Sometimes even free isn t a great deal I deleted it after about two minutes The Sync button resets the time back to the original I ve never seen a race starter do that sync always jumps to the next minute down and the seconds go to zero I can t imagine anyone wanting it to jump back to the original time Plenty of good free ones to choose from     Worth the price Rocker Ronnie

I ve been using iRegatta and still find it has some benefits over this app However you can t beat free Two features that would bring it up closer to par would be to allow landscape mode which happens to match how I strap my iPhone to my arm and adding an offset specifying how far from the bow I sit it matters when you sail on bigger boats For an added bonus I d consider adding wind tracking a la North Sails Tactician basically just a way to keep track of wind shifts this would also integrate nicely with the starting line now I just tells you the neutral wind direction but if you added information about the current wind direction it could keep you informed of the favored side                 Simple and efficient starting timer Brorilä
