Love it Just another thing I dont HAVE to carry when I travel My 12c has been with me for 20yrs but I cant be disappointed to part ways now that I have this app Its only been 2 weeks but so far so great Just like my handheld
This is exactly like the 12c calculator youre used to carrying around so why do it When the batteries went South on my 12c I found this app at just about the same cost as replacing the batteries I thought about the fact my phone is always with me so why carry 2 items when I can carry just one and it has proven to be a real advantage I travel a lot one less thing to remember and carry Often my calculator was in my briefcase or office or just somewhere else when I needed it No more Always there with me On both iphone and iPad Perfect Why carry both

Functions just like the original except for the display The numbers in the display need to be larger and bolder as they are in the original Also it would help to have the calculator fill more of the screen Also an option for an auxiliary tape display to function like an adding machine The new version does fill the screen Great Bolder numbers

This is exactly like the real thing I dont always remember to carry my real HP 12C ibut I usually do have the iPad with me and its nice not having to go back to a regular non RPN calculator when I use the iPad This app looks 100 like the real HP12C and works the same It really works

Last two columns dont work when in landscape mode on a brand new iPad Mini Technical support said the problem is Apples yet the same screen area is active on other apps including FIN12C iPhone app at 2X The solution appears to be dont use it in Landscape mode Amazing and not in a good way Additionally documentation is limited to reproducing HPs There dont appear to be any enhancements over the base HP function Im sorry I wasted my time and money on this Last two columns dont work in landscape mode

The physical HP12C had been my trusty companion for years With the move to lighten my load for business and personal travel I opted for the ipad and ditched the laptop I was reluctant to let go of the 12C but this virtual version is every bit as good and more readily at my fingertips without being another gadget to schlep around and worry about breaking or dying batteries Indispensable

Have a HP 11C which is the scientific version of the 12C Both are probably the best on the market especially with the ability to use RPN Tested several other financial calculators in App Store for the iPad 4 but none came close to the 11C in terms of capability Financial Calculator is a Winner
Cheaper faster and better than the iconic HP 38E And it shows up on all of your other Apple devices Just Like The Real Thing

This app does everything the HP 12C does so its great My only complaint is that it should be larger on the iPad Why should I need to worry about hitting the wrong key when theres so much screen real estate to work with It looks as if they wrote this for the iPhone and never upgraded to iPad size Great Could be Even Better

I have the ipad and the iPhone version Since you can run the iPhone version on the iPad you only need the iPhone version The iPad version does not use the extra screen real estate I initially tried the 12c emulator from HP but it had bugs So far no problems with this software Put it on the iPhone and it is always with you Works just like a 12c
I have been using a 12C for over 25yrs and the 12e app for over a year and it is the same in all respects It is still the best Still the best
