12Bar is the easiest way to create and share chord charts and set lists. Create and share lyrics, charts and sets with your band and friends. Intuitively designed by musicians for studio and live performance. ...
This app is just what I have been looking for to expand my music into the next technology I have been using an iPad for quite some time so I am familiar with the ups and downs of live music production I am now using s new iPad Air The program is very responsive and its simplicity makes it very user friendly No long drawn out help files just a few hints that pop up to help walk you through the learning curves This app has terrific potential for solo performances as well as full bands I can see full worship teams designating this as their go to app for their music productions Im setting up light chases and scenes in the notes to do full stage organization and production for each set Lots of flexibility in a very affordable package US Musicians tend to break the bank You wont have to with this wise purchase                 12Bar app is fabulous
Wow so glad I got this one on a free day The charts are fixed length The support website loads more unrelated apps The FAQ is moronic I will stick with Set List Maker by Arlo Leach His app rocks     Crap App
My old band recently got together for a oneoff gig12Bar was instrumental pun not intended for relearning some of our old jams and a bunch of covers we threw together for the gig There are other apps that do the chart thing but are too boisterous and learningcurve intensive 12Bar just works                 Solid
I wouldve put zero stars but Apple makes you put at least one I had very high hopes for this app and believed it was going to be the solution for my music moving forward Unfortunately it fell very short The first issue is that is very laggy on an iPad air lets only one generation oldduring the tutorial pages that come up when you first launch the app and when you start your first chord chart the input menu is very laggy for typing and inputting your song key and genre The other issue in this menu is that an artist is a required field in worship music there are times you dont know the artist of the song and I have many chord sheets that do not have artists on them This should not be a required field to start a chord chart When starting a chord chart it appears that you need to do things in a specific order I started with an intro and dropped in some chords and then it would only let allow me to type above them resulting in them being pushed down intro the area causing me to have to remove them and reinput them after typing lines of the verse That was not the only time this happened to me it happened with instrumental and brakes and intros into bridges I did not try the Facebook sign up for the account side of the app I wanted to test the app itself first I am not excited about tying it up to a Facebook account to start with and there may be a way to back up what you input into this app via the Facebook account but that is unclear to me at this time With the person performance issues and without having clear way to backup the time that it would take me to input chord charts I dont believe that this app is quite ready for me to make the switch from a good PDF manager was good annotation capability Because I have my hopes for this app I am not asking for a refund and I hope it improves in later versions     High hopes but it fell short
The app will not even open after downloading I really was looking forward to this and was disappointed immediately Dont waste your time     Junk
I was a little hesitant to spend 5 on a brand new app but I can say now that 12Bar is totally worth it Its pretty fun to use and the chord charts I make are very accurate I love being able to instantly transpose a chart of i want to try it in a different key Love the user interface and sharing your stuff works great if the other people in your band have it too I would totally recommend this app if your looking for a solution to ditch the notebook and keep everything on the iPad                 12Bar is great
